Knowing *exactly*, *which* IVAs are gone might help... Also, which ASET mods?... I *assume* you have at least ASET Props installed? I also install ASET Avionic, just in case ... also, do you have MM v3.1.1 installed?

Yay for 1.6! When is the inevitable 1.6.1 coming?
Stone Blue replied to Murdabenne's topic in KSP1 Discussion
NOT always... Especially part mods with no plugins... If moar people understood this, maybe there wouldnt be nearly as many "Update this already..." posts, to annoy mod devs Plus, people should understand that KSP allows for multiple installs... So its easy to ust make a fresh, stock install *for testing*, with a new version of KSP, install only the mod you are wondering about, and any dependencies... and then actually *TRY* seeing if a mod works with a new KSP version *BEFORE* posting update requests... (which are actually against forum rules) Plus, if it *doesnt* work, instead of posting useless "Update this..." requests, perhaps post a useful bug report instead, which may even help get a mod properly updated in a moar timely fashion... Stone Blue replied to Red3Tango's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Red3Tango Hey, THANX for this mod, and updating the OP to confirm 1.5.x compatability. I was ust wondering if you could provide a working link for the source code...The one on SpaceDock doesnt not seem to work anymoar... ?? vOv Again, THANX for this mod -
Yay for 1.6! When is the inevitable 1.6.1 coming?
Stone Blue replied to Murdabenne's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well, all i can say is, I hope this new 3 month release schedule for major releases, doesnt mean we dont get patch releases, except for absolute major game-breaking bugs. I think committing to a hard 3 month schedule is not a great idea... there are bugs (maybe not game breaking for the maority of players), but considerable bugs none the less, that have already been carried over from several previous major updates... Concentrating on only absolute game breaking bugs introduced, right after, each major update, and an art revamp and new features/content, is, IMHO, ust asking for all those old "minor" bugs to carry through even longer, and worse, for more of them to be introduced, and just left as-is, to carry forward and pile up even worse... IMHO, one of the reasons 1.3.1 is so stable, is that it was the last one before this last Unity upgrade... Again, IMHO, Squad seemed to be doing alright on a rough 6 mos release schedule, with no hard timeline... If TT2 wants to implement a hard schedule now, I think they should have started with a 6 month... maybe 5 mos... Im afraid with the current art revamp, and continued interest in adding new features, *AND* a 3 month *major* release schedule, that we wont see a good "Squash the Bugs Edition" bug squashing update till at least KSP 1.8... *If ever...* vOv I would rather see Squad take a solid pause on revamps and new features, and first and foremost, absolutely concentrate on eliminating as many bugs as they can, for a whole release cycle. -
[1.3] Wyvern, an advanced 5-kerbal crew capsule
Stone Blue replied to zlsa's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I changed up the pod ladder/hatch, and in process of adding dbl-click to IVA windows... also scaled down the flag to 75% -
The landing gear mod, IIRC, was ALG (Adjustable Landing Gear)... which Shadowmage incorporated into Kerbal Foundries... Also, the standalone mod, might be Hangar Grid that you are thinking of

[1.5.1] Baha EPL Redrilled v1.3.02 (12/21/18)
Stone Blue replied to Eskandare's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
source *code* ... some devs with open licenses also make the source *models/textures/Unity project files* for parts, also available... Like Ven did, for example -

Also, I know it avalable on SpaceDock (which is GREAT), but the direct links for the mod and source do NOT work... ?? Now looking in the zip, I dont see a plugin specific to this mod (?)... so I guess no reason for a source link... unless you wanna put the source models and textures up... -
@4x4cheesecake THANX ... copied and archived for future reference (and yes, i did read it all the way thru, too...)

[1.1.x] CoolRockets! Cryo and Launch Particle FX
Stone Blue replied to sarbian's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
well, in this instance @PART[*]:HAS[!MODULE[KM_PreLaunchEffect_SmkS] I read that to mean if all parts HAS <NOT> <this MODULE> ... basically to check for parts that do NOT have that MODULE..... especially in this case, where if it was to delete it, its the same module its meant to *add*... vOv -
[1.1.x] CoolRockets! Cryo and Launch Particle FX
Stone Blue replied to sarbian's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
hmm.. i always thought declarations of *checking* for/against presence of stuff, that ( ! ) means NOT .... *not* delete something vOv But yeah... Ive never been clear on the difference between ! and ~ ... While MM generally has excellent documentation, I always thought that section was pretty cloudy -
yeah.. I kno of what you speek i agree... but I really think those people are few and far between... it mostly seems devs: A) just lose interest B) see other mod devs *take* their stuff (even tho its *legally* allowed, theres *ethics/etiqutte* aspect that some devs ignore) C) ust rage quit, from all the requests from updates, and support requests/bug reports, and general dumb questions from peep who cant *READ*
-
yeah... but then again, a lot of it can be attributed to the way many people in the community act toward mod devs. So lots of times, not too surprising this happens.
-
heres another mast cam that went the way of NO DERIVATIVES
-
IIRC, I *have* seen another mast cam in another mod... I ust cant remember which one right now... Maybe in LionHead Pandora? vOv
-
@sslaptnhablhat License on it is ARR .. so no one can touch it. It would have to be re-written from scratch.

[1.3] Wyvern, an advanced 5-kerbal crew capsule
Stone Blue replied to zlsa's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
@zlsa so I took a look at this, and got ust about everything fixed. IVA now works. There were some incorrect model URLs and other stuff in several of the configs. i also converted the textures to .dds, and shrunk the mod from 39.5MB to 12.2MB ... it could probably go smaller, if you reduce the texture sizes. Not sure 2K textures are really necessary here vOv Oh, also wondering why use MonoProp, instead of solid fuel on the engine pods? vOv I can zip everything up, and PM you a download link if you want... ust hit meh up in PM -
@HeyThisIsntFallout you could try uninstalling KIS and KAS, and using the version that GER_space recompiled and linked to, in the post right above yours vOv

@boofzilla idk... seems to be working fine for me? i'm on 1.5.1, with a pretty heavily modded install. Can you give moar detail? Does it do it with all of the Telemachus antennas?... and what *exactly* do you mean by breaks other antennas? ... do you lose complete communication, or ust transmitting science, or..?? also, dont get offended, but are sure you are still within range of the biggest antenna you are using? Also, are you *sure* you dont have a Telemachus *for All* patch, somehow installed? If you had a prior installation of Telemchaus, maybe delete the Telchaus folder, and reinstall... vOv

Perhaps someone at Squad, for transparency/clarity/better public relations, should actually go thru and *update/cleanup* the bugtracker. At least show that there *is* activity on Squads side, of actually *using* the bug tracker... vOv Regardless of actual numbers, there *are* still many bugs that have been around awhile that have not been fixed...
