  1. I'm building my station currently. I really like this one, but I'm not a big fan of using other people's crafts, so I'm just copying yours by building it myself. Thanks for the inspiration, though. The station shaping up well, all because of you. Without this inspiration, I would have just built another mass of trusses and useless solar panels.
  2. I, uh, you, ...wow. Are you trying to poke a hole in the skybox? I imagine that's the way to do it. *w/o mods, tweakscale doesn't count for this.
  3. The Mk2, Mk3, and Mk1 cockpits (minus the redone pointy one). Consistency with window shininess, that's what's worth keeping.
  4. Okay, fine, I switched to 32bit. The game crashes every half hour, but at least the atmosphere makes sense. *grumble*. There IS no official 64-bit build, I wouldn't worry too much about the false bug reports. And I think that anybody who installs the 64-bit hack would know enough not to report the bug without reproducing it in 32-bit. Besides, the 64-bit hack is more stable than the official 64-bit version ever was. By now, it just seems like the compatibility checker is leftover code that isn't needed anymore. As it is, we're stuck with either a game that looks nice OR a game that plays nice. I feel like we should be able to have both if we really want to.
  5. Try commenting out the patches for stuff that's done in Ven's revamp. That's the Science Lab, the Mk1 Cockpit, all the lander cans, the Mk1 and Mk1-2 pods, the cupola, and all the solar panels in the WindowShine cfg. I did it, it worked!
  6. Now only would it help with any OCD, it would stop the thumbnails from not showing any areas of the windowed parts that aren't windows. I think the other mods with TRReflection have the windows as separate meshes to avoid this, but the stock parts don't. This discussion is probably going to get very code-y, so I'll back away slowly.
  7. Are the lights from collision supposed to be on full blast when any collision FX happens at all? I mean, when it starts and you're moving at a slow speed. It gets normal once you really scrape the ground.
  8. Man, I'm stuck to 32bit 'cause of FAR... and I'm crashing constantly. Is there no middle ground? EDIT: No, there is a middle ground! Not opengL, but d3d11! This way I get TextureReplacer reflections, but no also anti-aliasing. And now I'm off topic. Sorry.
  9. Finally made an SSTO that works in 1.0! But I gave up on stock aerodynamics and used Ferram Aerospace. Now this whole "SSTO" thing seems easy. I haven't re-entered it yet, though, that oughta be fun. And by "Fun" I mean "Full of F9"
  10. Great job. I do like the TR-Reflections now that they don't make things unclickable. Although, the Mk2 Crew Cabin doesn't seem to have glass windows, is this an improper installation, or are those windows just yet to be polished?
  11. Look at this page. You may find some answers there.
  12. Yeah, I know. I just really like having things fly as they should, but I also like being able to fly them under a sky populated with soft-looking clouds where mountains fade to blue in the distance, or underneath a sky full of all the tiny points that are stars coming from a 4k skybox, each Kerbonaut in a spacesuit designed for their class (and some orange ones for the veterans), and having a few select parts out of Ven's revamp that I like the most. I like my mods, in other words. A lot of them.
  13. So, since there's no 64-bit build for 1.0, should there still be a check for it? Doesn't that seem a little unnecessary? Okay, okay, I'm SORRY, I like my mods, but I also like FAR. I promise, I won't complain about bugs, I'll reproduce anything and everything in x86... Okay, you're mad. Please don't hurt me.
  14. Are you trying to say that it does work, or are you asking if it works? If it does work, great. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't. If you're asking if it works, try it and let us know.
  15. Though this was actually yesterday, I finally went to another planet, Duna. I landed a small probe there, and had Bill, Jeb, and Bob do a flyby. After running out of fuel in a solar orbit near Duna, I realized I had forgotten to take screenshots. Bleh.
  16. Definitely YouTube, though I can't remember where. I finally bought the game right before 0.21.
  17. Jeb is, like Bill and Bob, orbiting Kerbol alongside Duna, wondering why he didn't see that I forgot to put on that one last fuel tank sooner. Whoops.
  18. It's really, really fun when you get to that 10%. And you know what, I think the other 90% isn't at all bad either. For me, it's both the journey and the destination that's great.
  19. So looped connection nodes? I'd love it, but it sounds really hard to do.
  20. I have never been to another planet (save HyperEdit), and I've been playing since 0.20! I have been to the moons a lot, though.
  21. No I do not think it's cheating. What else are we supposed to do with that long 1.25 to 2.5m adapter? Just NOT put anything in it?
  22. Well hey, it's not like KSP goes away when you're not playing the game. This has happened to me too.
  23. Drat, nuFAR disables itself as well. Ferram seems to be taking every precaution, even though there is no official 64bit build, not to have those false bug reports. Y'know what, though... I don't seem to be getting any weirdness specific to 64-bit. That is, until I tried to install the mod.
