Proot I've been making my own modifications on your part and asset textures, as well as converting a number of the remaining .png images to .dds. I've also added my spaceplane color correction parts and new textures for every planet updated and converted from edraxial's old textures. I was wondering if I could post it here? Or should I keep it personal? I'll put an album up when I'm next open.

I updated to the most recent version of EVE and this no longer showes up on screen. The clouds and atmosphere aren't visible on the loading screen any more. I wasn't able to enter any buildings upon loading the save menu when I took that save. That picture is as far as I got . If still relevant though, what images on screen had I not converted correctly, and what would that fix? The far left kerbal's suit is pitch white, presumably because KSP had the glitch where it doesn't complete loading all of the textures. I've deleted the suits now to conserve memory along with a few other things. Right now I'm only using the TextureReplacer files from Renaissance (though with a number of the parts edited) until all the other mods are updated. It's looking beautiful.

I've opened and re-saved every image to have the same settings as you posted on the last page in THIS version. Are these correctly optimized? The file size of your re-uploads and mine are the same (~30% bigger). And no worries, I'm not taking you as compaining, you are being extremely helpful. And a complainer doesn't talk in such a constructive way. I think I'll put a shoutout to you in the changelogs, actually.

New release! Added standard canard and swept wing. Oh and also, if you're a fan of Proot's Renaissance pack, I've been making my own slight variations on his parts. I may be posting that here if I get his permission.

I've been trying to get Renaissance running on my PC through updating a few the individual mods, and converting all the cloud and remaining .png textures to inverted .dds files. I'm also running a DX9 shader. And a few of my own part textures. And new textures for all the planets which I converted to inverted .dds files. Here's the main screen: More on this if I can get past the KSC save menu.

I looked in there and didn't see the textures. I'm familiar with the format (I run a texturepack that uses TR in that very same way) but I didn't see them.

I agree. I'm happy with drag drop. Let's me choose what I want installed if I'm smart too. Speaking of that, Proot can you tell me where in the install your revamped parts are? XD I want to manually change the ladder color. The yellow is beautiful I just want a more dark and brooding look to my saves. Searched for ten minutes and didn't find them. They're probably somewhere really obvious...

Basically it makes the planet glow with a more 'sky-blue' hint to it than stock. If I remember right Proots renaissance pack has good pictures of the effect. Or at least it did. The config files for EVE atmospheres are simple enough. I actually had pretty good luck editing them myself! Would it actually be that simple to make the haze fade out? That would be super handy too as it'd mean you wouldn't need to fix scatter from orbit for every planet either. You just make it fade away!

UPDATE: It appears as though I cannot reproduce the bug. I may have corrupted the save (I've had the same glitch happen after a corrupt save), or if I'm forgetting which KSP directory the glitch happened on, I could have had an incompatibility issue with Hyperedit (Which also glitches the same way), which I know is incompatible. Also, it appears as though added -force-opengl to the back of a KSP.exe shortcut no longer is working for me. It boots up frozen and says it cannot switch resolutions . Anyhoo, it looks as though PlanetShine is off. It may have been Hyperedit or a save corruption. EDIT: Blackrack I have a suggestion that might fix the circles and flickering from orbit. If it works. What if you made the scatterer haze fade away as you leave the atmosphere, and at the same time use the new atmosphere coloring from EVE to make it look as though the haze is still present? That might solve issues with scaled space too as EVE is visible in scaled space. Is this possible?

Oh haha! I misspelled compatibility. I'll post pictures when I next can. I'm away from my PC currently. The issue is that whenever you load up a save game, the KSC main screen starts zoomed in on the SPH and no buildings can be clicked on. I was running with -force-OpenGL so that may have been an issue. I haven't tested plain. I'm running full resolution on Windows 8.1. I'll post pictures when I next can.

I've always been a fan of the linear aerospike that was posted a while ago, but the part count was always a bugger. I've optimized and recreated a new linear aerospike, though it still has considerable lag from all the radar. Place it in your subassemblies. Linear Aerospike Sub (dropbox) -

Can anyone confirm this still works in 1.0.2? I find KerbCam a bit more handy than camera tools. -
So I've taken Endraxials new planet and moon textures, and I've converted them to optimized .dds. I've also half sized every texture except Kerbins as the difference basically negligible. I'm not sure if I'd be allowed to put a link here, but Shaw/Endraxial if you say it's okay, sure I'll post one. Also, I've made my own darkened version of the default skybox to remove the annoying .dds compression lines. I highly doubt I'm legally allowed to repost it but if I can, sure I'll post a link of it too XD.

I'm getting issues with the skybox being highlighted, and planets turning red and transparent from certain angles. Anyone know the cause/a fix? EDIT: It only happens after the first launch/revert to KSC main menu. First launch and load runs perfectly fine. It breaks after that.
