  1. Sweet - I think I shall EDIT: Album is uploading right now. 45/75 images done.
  2. I've been monitoring this mod for a bit now Nhawks - You never cease to amaze me withe the wonderful stockalike mods and expansions that you've done . - I wanted to say however, there is no clear imgur album of the plumes in action. The plume album is quite old now and doesn't show the true appearance of what the various plumes look like in game straight after download. I could do an album for you if they are designed for stock models and you want one - the real question that I have is however, is this continuation still designed for Ven's revamp, or plain stock models? The engine bell sizes and placements are much different in Ven's revamp in many cases. I play w/out Ven's revamp as it changes too much for my tastes. Many thanks in advance!
  3. I hope the weekend's been treating you well Proot - Rushed hands make bad plans so take your time!
  4. I'm actually completely baffled with the i5-6500 and overclocking. It is labeled as being locked and unable to overclock, but I have heard you can still overclock it with certain components. My current motherboard is an Asus H170M-E, and one of my friends briefly mentioned being able to overclock my 6500. I'm unsure if it is capable of doing so, or how.
  5. One more update, this set of corsair ram just went on a great sale: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233538&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= It is also CAS 9 - I think I shall go with this one. I did a great deal of chatting with a newegg advisor and we both agreed it was a great set for a very reasonable price. I also can't actually confirm the compatibility of that second set of Corsair ram. I'd prefer to stick with a set of the same make as my current build. I'm a bit of a Corsair fanboy too
  6. As an update, it was suggested on the pcpartpicker forum that I should aim for RAM with cas latency of around 9. Revising my options. EDIT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233540
  7. I'm planning on going into a career in video editing actually - That's what I've been reading too. The i5-6500 has been great for the two months I've had it. - I used to have that same exact card!! It did quite well for me when I had it too. I needed something a bit faster for video editing however. I didn't plan on upgrading CPU unless it was highly recommended. Take care Slam_Jones! RAM is what I've been thinking of upgrading mostly. I sadly don't know much about what makes good RAM vs. bad RAM. Good to hear that makes a difference. I'm a big fan of corsair so I've been thinking of getting 8GB sticks of Vengeance, but I honestly don't know what the best pick would be. Color/appearance is of no issue with my PC as it has no side window. I'm curious if you know what would be the best pick? Many thanks Kat Quick research, Possible option 1 (cheaper, Team Elite) Possible option 2 (Pricier, Corsair)
  8. Back from lurking . Well, I am upgrading my computer once again since my slightly more enthusiast brother will be selling his dual Radeon R9 290X's for an extremely good price. I thought you guys might enjoy looking and reviewing this system build. Any of you reading this if you have a spare minute do you think you could read over this and suggest what I should upgrade next? The computer's name is Vall and it has a custom wallpaper which I made a bit ago as well. Items in bold I am debating upgrading soon - which do you think is the most important to upgrade? CPU: Intel Skylake I5-6500 (4 core, 3.2GHz) -Considering upgrading, though I only just recently acquired this card CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS9900ALED Ball Bearing CPU Cooler Memory: Team Elite 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (2x for 8 GB total RAM) -Considering either buying another 8 GB for a total of 4 sticks w/ 4 GB each, or buying a set of dual 8GB. Not going above 16GB soon. Storage: Seagate 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive GPU: XFX Radeon R9 290X 4GB Black Edition (2x crossfire, dual monitors) Case: NZXT H230 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case - My computer is more or less encased on 6 sides (see here). Computer is well cooled atm, lots of case fans. Might become an issue w/ dual GPUs. Power: Corsair RM 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Monitors: Primary 1920x1080, secondary 1680x1050. pcpartpicker link
  9. Man... colliders for surface features has been a want for quite some time now. Makes me happy to see you're one of the first to add it. - Good to hear that there's "Much better FPS performance". The way you say makes it seem like it is indeed quite a bit of improvement. Even if it's only a few frames better I look forwards. And what's this about crags at Duna?! Are you trying to say that you actually have things to worry about when landing besides hills now? Man... SQUAD should really acquire you. You use Cubethesphere too?! Woah! I was introduced to this old program by a friend of mine and it's always been extremely useful. Hm... It was creating too much lag wasn't it . Probably a good idea in that case. Are you planning on including an "extras" folder in the main DL?
  10. Man... I never knew just how old this mod is. A friend pulled up his .20 save that had it and we went over the history of this mod and the various parts from it that made it into stock in a following release. I just wanted to say congrats and give you applause for keeping this mod up for so long. Many of the ancients are no longer running still. I sadly only use stock parts when I build craft, but - I think it would be a great idea to release this mod as official DLC or make a few more of these parts stock in the up and upcoming releases of KSP. - The modelling and texturing work is already done and the time alone this mod has been around can atone for the versatility and usefulness of these parts. I think it would be a nice touch for a veteran mod such as this.
  11. I'm curious, is there a way to get the Jernas missile turret to follow laser sight/GPS? From my findings I haven't been able to do this.
  12. Its easily avoided in game as soon as you figure out what caused it. If it takes a lot of recoding it might not be worth the time. - Maybe just a known bug
  13. I have WASD Editor cam disabled at entering the editor - It starts with the default camera and I hit 5 to bring up the WASD Cam. I hope it's an easy fix
  14. I have pinned down exactly what caused this now. It's caused by entering WASD camera mode while already holding a piece. It's easily fixed by simply not holding a piece. You can probably witness it yourself too.
  15. One more thought, do you think you could team up with sirkut from infernal robotics and make it possible to add parts on top of the Millennial and Abrams cannon that rotate with the turret? It would be quite a rewarding feature if it's at all possible - I'm imagining placing a laser mount on top of a cannon bed and having it rotate along. EDIT: Possibly a simpler solution would be to add an attachment point to the top center?
  16. Have you heard about @UpsilonAerospace's music? He's actually been making planet-specific music for a bit of time
  17. Thanks for the kind words - That has not been mentioned yet actually. Thanks! - I'll ask him that right now.
  18. Has the new year been busy Pizzaoverhead? It's been quite loaded for myself at least.
