Wikipedia is your friend Geostationary orbit It says it is 35,786 km, but I think it is a bit different in RSS because we have a planet with a constant radius, unlike Earth. That should be pretty close though, make sure your orbital period is 23h 56m 4.1s

So I have been wondering, why there isn't a LES rescale yet? I know everyone just clicks revert flight when things go wrong but LES would definitely be more realistic! -

yeah, the first thing I do is remove all the extra radius completely (with 'r' to the left), then work from there

Nathan I had a SM survive reentry while coming from the moon. I burned all my fuel before reentering but my velocity was still like 7500 m/s! the UP decoupler was pointed prograde and the max temp it reached was like 1170. Because pic: this is the SM- 5,919 replies

People will probably tell you to download pfairings (btw blackheart612 is working on pfairings that look just like KW). But I know Scott Manley uses KW fairings in his videos and he got them to work somehow- 14,073 replies

You may be doing your gravity turn way to late. Gradually turn eastwards (or wherever you wanna go) after you reach a velocity of about 100 m/s, which should be around 500 m (varies with the rocket). Also make sure that your TWR at launch is around 1.2-1.6- 14,073 replies

It is not supposed to open at a wrong altitude or pressure, you can set those parameters with twekables. With this you can for example with RemoteTech and DRE stage the parachute after doing the deorbit burn, re-enter the atmosphere and after that the chutes open, without having to press any key -

Nathan was using Dtobi's for his RftSEngines but had to switch to EE because it had some issues. what's the difference between the three (Dtobi, HoneyFox, EE)? -

You need to put each folder in GameData separately, you will know you are doing it right if it asks you if you want to replace some files, which you should If you don't have the clouds and city lights mod, the clouds won't appear, same goes for universe replacer

As you may have noticed, the spaceport isn't updated for most mods. Everything you need is here, in the forums . While flying there should be an icon in your screen that wasn't there before, just click that and it's pretty self explanatory from then on.
