Lucky you, I didn't get any sedation at all for my cataract surgery, just a metric crapton of eye drops. While it didn't hurt, the discomfort of staring at a bright light for what felt like an hour (probably 5 minutes) was acute. That's Canada's publicly funded health system for you. If I had known to ask for sedation, it probably would have been out-of-pocket, like the premium lens.

As to the whole debate of having "Metallic Hydrogen" in KSP2 causing people to think metastable MetH is a real thing, that could be countered by simply having a disclaimer in the KSPedia page for MetH. stating something along the lines of "Recent experiments have shown that pure MetH is not metastable, but some hope remains that metastability may be found by doping or alloying." Sure, one can argue that not everyone will read that particular slide of the KSPedia, but at least the disclaimer will be there.

Mike Huges is at it again; RIP 22 Feb 2020

You’d think the weak point for his safety would be making himself the payload. Although I suppose kudos (Or at least a Darwin Award) are in order for willing to risk his life to try and prove a point -

Start blowing up or otherwise destroying everything that I was sure I wasn’t ever going to want or need Much like “Trashcan Man” in The Stand -

Well, to be fair, the objections are usually about indefinite storage of location information. Some states have enacted statutes limiting how long some information can be stored before requiring it to be purged, although three years seems a little long to me. But Teslas already have plenty of cameras' police would just need to hook the camera feeds to the LPR software

Automatic license plate readers have been a thing for years now, much to the disgust of ACLU-types https://www.policeone.com/police-products/traffic-enforcement/license-plate-readers/

Just jump in, eject your cargo, and jump out again.... -
https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-model-x-cybertruck-police-cruiser-canada/ Not sure why the more expensive Model X was even considered, aside from the gull falcon-wing doors making prisoner passenger access easier. But yeah, Cybertruck (and Cyberquads) would be ideal for the vast rural areas of northern Canada, although winter could get interesting without battery warmers. Some strategically-placed solar battery-charging stations would help (by which I mean, a battery farm charged up by solar panel farms, for rapid charging of vehicles as needed).
