  1. Small request: the original LE-5 for H-I (as a B9 variant for LE-5A). This is the only part in Delta-derived lineup (N-I, N-II, H-I) that you can't accurately reproduce with BDB.
  2. Nice stuff, but: (NB: KSP 1.12.1, KSRSS 0.7beta, 16K textures, terrain detail Default) 1) Using Gemini launch pad effectively prevents you from using Gemini MLP stuff. 2) The Cape tends to disappear too early: 3) Grass texture is kinda off, IMO. 4) It looks somewhat too big, IMO. Better move it slightly further inland and maybe slightly to the north, for a better match it to look from the orbit.
  3. A request, if I may: Since general fallback tower is ideal for Atlas-E\F, can we get these sail-like things? I'm not quite sure what these were. Most likely they were some kind of wind protection.
  4. Try switching to High (16K) ground texture resolution - CCAFS seems to work fine with it. Also, try the latest dev version - according to log, there were numerous tries to fix this. (I assume we're talking about 2.5x rescale, of course) However, I don't use KK.
  5. PVG is essential if you want to use Titan III and IV to their full capacity in KSRSS (or other mod with non-equatorial launch sites). Aside from careful and skillful manual piloting, it is probably the only way to do a dogleg maneuver in order to reach lower inclinations. In case of solid-boosted Titans this means converting all that extra 2nd core stage fuel into initial inclination change. Most beautiful thing is that you don't need to do anything - just set your desired inclination to something about 18deg (that's for Titan 23C with about 0.9t payload - typical contract comsat to GEO). It'll throw a warning, but still fly you there - with full Transtage. (YMMV, of course)
  6. staticPressureASL = 7.09275E+03 (that's from KSRSS' Venus.cfg. Rescale config does not change atmospheric pressure). How exactly pressure limits work in KSP? Is it possible to have things fail after some time? Or it's just plain "you go over a certain limit, you die on the spot"? Would be cool if probe worked for a limited time before succumbing to environment, just like the real thing did. Only early landers (Venera 4-6). Later landers were designed to withstand up to 180 bar.
  7. Please consider adjusting 4MV's pressure limits for KSRSS. The probe explodes while flying mid-Venusian atmosphere in 2.5x rescaled system due to, well, exceeding pressure limits.
  8. For additional addiction, install Tantares, KNES, CRE, SOCK, MLP and as many smaller "stockalike replica" mods as your system can manage, then go here - https://space.skyrocket.de/directories/chronology.htm - and try to replicate as many launches as you can, in chronological progression, using real rockets (or replicas made from existing parts) and real launch sites. Additional points for plausible alternate history substitutes, like using Vega instead of Agena.
  9. Make sure you have a compatible EVE installed. You may also need Scatterer (not sure if 0.7 VE works only with EVE). Also, note that clouds not showing in main menu is a known bug - everything works perfectly once you load the save, so no one really cares about it.
  10. Latest dev release works well on 1.11.x. Here it is - KSRSS / KSRSS · GitLab
  11. Back then boiloff was intentionally set high for testing purposes. You should be OK with default rate. Note though that some early tanks (notably Centaur D) have almost no insulation and thus cannot coast for long periods.
  12. Is there any plans for standalone R-4D, made as engine (e.g. with ModuleEnginesFX, not ModuleRCSFX)?
  13. For 2.2, please also consider a fix for Saturn IB milkstool stand: (NB: This is with Saturn rescale patch, so it would likely be present after BDB Saturn update) Saturn V Moon stack, with everything assembled as close to RL as possible: Saturn IB milkstool stack, using the same tower subassembly, milkstool is moved slightly down to match RL, tower arms are lined with Apollo\S-IVB: The milkstool is too short.
  14. Pioneer 10 (Atlas-Centaur, CCAFS) NOTE: This mission uses a customized Coatl Pioneer 10. Mass and scale are adjusted to match the real probe (and make it to fit inside AC fairing). This patch can be found below the screenshot spoiler. NOTE #2: The aforementioned patch does not change nodes. You may need to use Move tool. As promised - a patch for Coatl Pioneer: @PART[dish_quetzal]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.09 } @PART[antenna_quetzal]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.0012 } @PART[quetzal]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.015 } @PART[ca_rtg2000]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.01 } @PART[ca_DUSTX]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.003 } @PART[ca_magneto2]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.0025 } @PART[ca_ESM]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.01 } @PART[ca_ESM2]:AFTER[CoatlAerospace] { rescaleFactor = 0.85 mass = 0.01 }
