  1. I think you have to ask that question to makers of mods like PEW or North Kerbin Dynamics. Apparently setting up a missile turret is same as setting up gun one, only without gun part itself and with additional part module. Well, "Elka" was between all those planes I was thinking of when building it. If only we had proper tandem 2-seater 1.25m cockpit...

  3. Suggestion: use old jet engine models from previous versions to create more jet engine variety. For example, here are small 0.625m afterburning turbofans made from old Turbojet. They really fill in the gap of an engine for small fighter.
  4. Fine, will spend some time tweakin them. The craft is a small but quite maneurable fighter. The problem is that it behaves OK on pitch axis, but it wobbly on roll and yaw. We need separate PID adjsutments for them. At least for roll, it's normally much more sensitive. @BahamutoD Can you add adjustments sliders somewhere to wingman menu? Searching for AI flight controller somewhere in service bay inside the plane's guts if flight is almost impossible.
  5. My wingmen are in constant ducth roll when following and not only, are there any values to tune? Would be good if we could tune actual pid values.
  6. Well, it really depends on a pilot, I use rudder for turning just like real airplanes do. I find it hard to fly without rudder.
  7. I've ust had a bug when HARM fired, bit didn't decouple. That was a crazy ride on it's rocket motor, and then Boom! Don't have a log, unfortunately - was stupid enough to re-launch a game.
  8. Now that we have Hydra turrets, can you incorporate that Hydra ammo box into the main download? Turrets need to be reloaded, or their usefulness is quite low. I've flown a few radio controlled wings, and I must say that rudder is not used at all, even if you have it. Well, it may be useful sometimes, in making loops, for example, or when sideslip becomes too large, but not in turns. The turn is aileron - only, you roll and pull the stick.
  9. When will you be fixing HEKV-1? I want to make some of ships from The Expanse, and KSP being space simulator and needing space weapons and such. I know, you'll need to program intercept guidance for space, but could we t least get it working like it was before but with new guidance?

  11. I mean, besides butting a shadow on it and "turning off" the sunlight the ambient lightning level should become darker. I mean the lightning that is used to render the ships in planet shadow, for example.
  12. Could you adjust the craft ambient illumination amount depending on where it is? If it's inside one of the shadows it should be darker.
  13. Would it be possible to have at least rudimentary simulation of proximity effects? Like ground effect, which I guess is the most needed and known.
  14. That just screams for dynamically adjusting ambient lightning level for crafts basing on current light level in the atmosphere at the spot where the craft is.
  15. I'm quite familiar with MM and config editing. Just couldn't find the file which describes tank definitions. So, I guess that that's for a reason
  16. I want to add a new custom resource to the wings, any tips on how to do that? I only see a mysterious ModuleFuelTanks without any configs of what fuels can it house.
  17. Awesome. Purely awesome. On a side note, 16 missiles attached do increase part count and lag. I've bumped into this problem with my cruiser, which has like 30 or 40 of them. Or are they not calculated as parts properly?

  21. I have a request: Can you make ammo drum storage? Stock boxes are quite small, and larger capacity storage is needed often without increasing part count. Drum looks nice and would be easier to fit into crafts. Here is an example, below the gun:
  22. Well, right no it's of no use, as no one tends to have extra ships around due to all lag, but it may b useful later. We'll see how well 1.1 runs with many ships in scene.
  23. Will you consider making a Cold War Pack after this one is finished? I mean various gun turrets, CIWS systems, radars etc, NATO and Soviet ones?
  24. From what I've seen on those recent videos from Syria, the missile actually spirals around the beam in much wider circles. You can google for "T-90 blown Aleppo". I won't want post it here due to rules and all that.
