The pack is intended to use it. You should use it, in soft or hard configs, because that avoid the usual problems with the ram limit. Detoxification is right, and it's especified in the OP: only linux64 bit users should try to use this without ATM, for the moment. This can be used by a 32 bit windows user without ATM, but only if you have 4+ GB of RAM and you don't use any other parts, sounds or music mods. News: - Working on realistic exhaust effects for the rockets (expanded flames in high atmo). - Working on climate effects for Kerbin (independent storm clouds). - OP will be retouched. - I've opened a poll to know what do you expect for KSPRC. More polls in the future, please participate! BTW, if you play with KSPRC, please, make me happy: send your best captures! I want to do an album under the OP with the best ones.

You haven't read the OP or the Readme file in the pack... You only have 3 steps for install. And for a default install nowhere says nothing about avoid folders or parts in the pack. Is in the FAQ too: And in the Changelog: "No more white horizons, nowhere, NEVER. New atmospherical ambients for Kerbin, Laythe, Duna and Eve. (using RSS plugin, thanks to NathanKell)" The RSS plugin (not the mod, the plugin, which makes the RSS mod possible) have the readme of the RSS plugin, wich is from Nathankell. I can't simply delete his info or any thing abut his authority. Is a source text file and I don't find any problem letting it there. Exactly: blue, not white as before. That is the thing. At the other side, the Moho effect is not from RSS, is from EVE. Kerbol's solar particles hitting in the magnetic field of Moho. EDIT: @Bibidibop: I've found you "frozen kerbals" bug by myself, just playing. I'm working to identify and fix the problem asap.

Ask me anything you want people, don't worry, I'm here to help. But please, read the OP and try to check that you have done all right, before to post "bugs" which in fact are your mistakes installing this. Ok, the first screenshot worries me, because that should not be happening. The bright effect should be more subtle, and don't show any cropping. Other users have posted photos of his telescopes over there... and everything seems fine. In fact the screenshots looks pretty spectacular: I do not use telescope mods atm, so if anyone can confirm or deny this bug would do me a huge favor. About the next screenshots I must say that looks like an ATM or TR bug, but I'm not sure about what is happening there... anyways that is not my texture for Minmus, so I can't diagnose what is your real problem there. That simply...

Don't worry. The thing is that my English is completely self taught, so is quite hard for me reply to all the issues quickly and rightly. No problem. But please, understand that I'm only replying this type of issues because I feel responsible in some way, but is clearly stablished in the OP: DISCLAIMER: THIS MOD OVERWRITE TEXTURES AND CONFIG FILES FROM SOME MODS! I'm not responsible if you accidentally overwrite any of your previous stock or personalized files or configs!! For the best and most secure installation, put this pack on a clean installation of KSP. If you can't or you don't want to do it, please, do a backup of all your personalized data before use this. This mod is intended as a pack, if you use it in other way I can't respond for the derivated problems. <-- HERE I don't care if you want to rip the pack for your necessities, but there are so many mods and texture packs that I simply can't manage this to know how reacts to all the possible combinations and its derivate problems. So in the last pages I feel like... You simply have done something wrong in the process: things like the Rapier isn't even touched here... But please, if you reinstall and still having problems with the Minmus look, take a screenshot to see what is exactly the problem.

Well... I don't know what are you trying to install, but is not the last version. Is not the whole pack... your head is not from my pack, so is not a clean install, the suit is not updated, so is not from the last update... So I guess that you aren't using the RSS plugin and its configs (included in the last version)... And as result you have the same-old white sky. Right? The first loading could take a long time in some machines... Have you all the depencencies? Especially ATM? How much ram do you have? Are you sure that you are not reaching the memory limit? I think you could delete the SmokeScreen plugin folder, and keep the HotRockets! FX. But I didn't try it before, be careful. Computer specs? I told you... Why you need a version when you only need not install one of the folders?

Try to delete the textureCache folder, inside ActiveTextureManagement folder. Then let the game load again. ATM in combinations with so many new textures can produce much more slower first-loadings, be patient. But for your comments you are probably hitting the RAM limit. So if that doesn't work, try to delete the "Sondtrack Editor" folder while the next version (with dynamic loading) comes out. That should give you an extra memory saving.

I don't understand how you have problems solved two versions ago... Have you Environmental Visual Enhancements updated? You are simply not doing right the install. Completely true, my bad. I will fix that for the next update. Many thanks Shaw.

I can't do anything if you don't give me some useful info... How much is serious FPS drop? Have you that problems all the time or only in some craft/sites? I'm afraid that I can't do nothing If you don't give me more info. BTW. All textures are deeply optimized in the new version (For example auroras are only a new texture, around 360KB...); I'm using less EVE layers to get the same effects than before... If you are experiencing performance or visual problems probably you are not doing something right. Please people, make your reports with calm: try to explain me the problem for real, where or how are you finding it, if you have a clean and complete install of the pack or not... you know, useful info. This thread could be fun and useful or just a lot of complains caused by not read or not do what is supposed you had to do in the first place. Try to delete the "Sondtrack Editor" folder while the next version (with dynamic loading) comes out. That should give you an extra memory saving. Maybe that allow you to use all else without rip the pack too much. Edit: added a media fire mirror in the OP... I'm trying to find why I can't upload this to spaceport.

In that case (if you gonna delete the heads) you should make you own .cfg for Texture Replacer. Copy the heads contents from the default TR .cfg file into the KSPRC.cfg file. At the end you should have a merge of my TR & suit configurations and the heads configs from the stock TR. I think that is the only thing you need to do. If you are using the HD version of EVE without performance drops that behaviour is not normal at all... because I'm not adding too much (in memory terms) into Kerbin from the stock EVE... even less in this new version... and that, obviously, shouldn't be a problem for your type of machine. I'm using all this without problems in my Nvidia Geforce 9600GT.

LMAO! Excuse me, but that is probably one of the most funny bugs that I've found EVER. I'm gonna save that screenshot. Looks like a modern photo-composition of small Hadfields. I'm trying to reproduce that but I can't. (Now I want it, lol) Seems like you aren't doing something like it supposed to be done, because you don't have the improved Navball texture neither.

If you are using a clean install, try to delete "textureCache" folder, inside "ActiveTextureManagement" folder. If that doesn't solve the problem try to do a complete reinstall of Texture Replacer and then put again that part of my pack over it. If yet you can't see the texture correctly, please, delete that concrete texture and wait for next updates.

Yup, it's true... are you using the Active Texture Management configs from the pack? Seem like some type of conflict/problem in ATM or Texture Replacer... You only have that issue with the SRB?

That is a really weird bug. I didn't see that before. I'm pretty sure that you didn't do a clean install... Please, be sure that you remove any previous content before install or you can suffer texture conflicts with previous versions or outdated textures..

Delete CoolRockets, MP_Nazari & smokescreen folders to delete the rockets FX. You gonna have texture replacements for the stock FX in Texture Replacer yet. Delete DistantObject folder to delete the planet flares and the sky dimming.

You don't need to delete the game, just check the integrity of your KSP Steam install (in the Steam app), in that process all stock files would be restarted. Then delete any folder in "GamData" which not be from Squad or the Nasa pack. That is how you get a KSP clean again without reinstall the game. Well, after that, install all dependencies and then, only then, you should copy my pack over the GameData. Be sure to follow the process listed in the OP. Enhanced Nav Ball is a completely different mod and don't cause any problem with the Navball texture changer. You can use both without problems, as I do.

Thanks all! Pack Updated in the OP: PLEASE TRY TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL IF YOU ARE USING PREVIOUS VERSIONS 0.1.515 Environmental visual enhancements overhaul Polar Auroras (Kerbin, Duna, Laythe, Jool) New HD cloud maps. New citylights. New improved and optimized FX configurations for almost all kerbol bodies. New sand storms, ice steams, oceanic steams... No more white horizons, nowhere, NEVER. New atmospherical ambients for Kerbin, Laythe, Duna and Eve. (using RSS plugin, thanks to NathanKell) Engines: better FX textures. Almost all previous textures re-touched and re-optimized (some memory improvements). New stock parts revamped. Kerbal female head improved. New ATM configurations (ALCOR fixed). Other minor modifications. New links in Mega and DropBox, Spaceport coming soon. That seems an ATM conflict or a texture base conflict. But that is not from my pack. From what pack are that SRB? Share its textures with the stock contents? WT*? That is Eve's aurora, which is permanently over barely the whole body, but less strong than in other planets, so is not glowing in the dark.

[1.3.0] Ambient Light Adjustment 2.6.3.8 [09/06/2017] continued)
Proot replied to timmers_uk's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I like this mod, and I'm here to ask for something similar... but in my case is not completely the same: The stock light dispersion is well done for a body with atmo, so is working pretty well on Kerbin or Laythe. The problem comes in vacuum or with the less dense atmospheres: where the light turns more and more directional and the shadow areas should be completely black. So, immo, this mod should use new light levels, dependents to the atmospheric variables. -

Astronomer knows. I'm using the same stormy base in Laythe now. NASA cloud maps, right?
