  1. Love for details. As must be. Helldiver mate, Nazari and you are an a-w-e-s-o-m-e team. Truly deserved +Rep and respect!
  2. +Rep Thanks! Edit: could be possible to add the science parts? I love the geiger counter!
  3. Please, wait for final results. I'm improving size and compression for every texture, sound and so on... About the rings. I managed to they seem solid, now have bump too. Little points to consider: - Jool is a great candidate (gas giant), but have a lot of moons and protagonism by itself and more yet with Laythe orbiting it. But precisely the possibility to see Jool's rings, from Laythe, is an great extra. - Eve is another great candidate, by size and characteristics, but maybe it's too inside the system to have the rings. - Eeloo fits prefectly with rings, by aspect and place, but maybe is a bit small for rings. His gravity is very low. - Dres looks very nice with rings, but maybe is too small and too rocky for rings. His gravity is even lower than Eeloo. Other candidates: Tylo, Vall. Now we know no only Saturn have rings in the solar system. So maybe rings in more than one planet is a possibility too. Maybe a few rings for Jool, and more dense ring system for Eeloo (or vice versa) is a better option? I don't know. I wish know more astrophysics for a better choice... Please help!

    Epic Split!

Do you remember the to ?Well... seems Van Damme have something more to say...
  5. Doesn't matter, many thanks for try Shaw!. Reflections on cockpit glass using an added texture layer is it not possible either?
  6. don't know if I'm good enough to "compete" with Shna_na or Redwork... They are awesome modders, I'm just "that kid and his hungry's ram drawings" lol... But in any case I'll try to do my best, thank you!
  7. Congratulations again rbray89, that new clouds looks truly awesome. I'm looking forward to the final version. Edit: Btw... Rings! It's possible make them act like physical objects in any way?? (for example produce collisions)
  8. Sadly just a fancy effect atm. But Rbray89 have better rings as future feature in his fantastic mod VE: C&CL (which makes great part of this possible).
  9. Rings detail (placed on Dres for now, just as workspace), auroras and kerbol particles over moho.
  10. Now Laythe and Jool have his own auroras too. And eve have a little green glow too all over the planet. Hardly seen in the video, but Moho has solar particles hitting his magnetic field constantly.
  11. Thanks all!, new pics of the rings, auroras and so on is coming soon. I really think you gonna love the chatterer new sounds: they are very funny and even emotives, sometimes. True! NoDerivatives! I thought it was sharealike... Well, so for personal enjoyment I guess. Job is mainly done (95%). It just need some more tweaks, and minor decisions (in example: I have not decided yet on which celestial body I'm gonna put the rings).
  12. I'm waiting anxiously volumetric clouds! BTW, if you use this mod and you like my clouds maybe you like this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/70693-WIP-Renaissance-Compilation-%28artworks-remake%29
  13. Hi all! After years of enjoying the game I'm packing my first mod for Kerbal Space Program: the Renaissance Compilation. Renaissance Compilation is not properly a mod, in fact is just a bunch of weird drawings and sounds, mainly for Texture Replacer, VE: Clouds & City lights mods and Chatterer. But the point here is what I'm trying to do with this bunch of weird drawings and sounds: reach the best vanilla game experience. Let's see a teaser about it, please, use HD and go full screen if it's possible in order to see all details. All images are ingame, without any video effects (music by Preliator): So yes, Renaissance, is not a mod... is more like modding mods for the win. The compilation includes (atm): - Textures for TR (realist Skybox, close all planets and moons textures redone (biomes intacts), Kerbal heads, suits and so on...). - Textures and configs for VE: c & cl (HD clouds -with shadows and without tiling-, new realist atmospheric effects and colors, auroras, rings with visible -not physical- small dust and rocks at closest distances...). - Textures for Hot rockets and Cool rockets. - Complete set of new sounds for chatterer (including SSTVs, airlocks, breaths, control/capsule comms...). - New amazing main theme + 3 versions for playing in Soundtrack Editor. - 2 New NavBalls. - A lot of cool new flags! Other objectives (in progress): - External stock texture look for the ALCOR pod. - New menu textures for RPM. - Improved glass reflections. (done) I would love if you could give me some feedback about all this (ie: What planet or moon should have the Rings?) and on what else would look well in a pack like this... thank you very much for your time and I hope you enjoyed. PD: and please, excuse my grammar mistakes, my English is 99% self taught.
  14. I was just positively valuing this post. A little sense of humor has never killed anyone.
  15. Ey Hyomoto I love the black skin! (much more than regular version) But I have a small problem: even in 1920x1080 resolutions the scanlines effect for the monitors produces me a small redish moiré pattern. That happens to you? Have you tried to do a monochromatic scanline effect? Like here: http://creativebits.org/photoshop/scan_line_effect_in_photoshop Last one type maybe would be perfect: creates a nice pixel effect and is applied in diagonal, so the moiré pattern effect should be smaller.
  16. It's on the previous page... config_enabled = true NORMAL_LIST { texture = KSO/Parts/internalkso/kerbin_lifter_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Parts/internalkso/kerbin_orbiter_docking_mod_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Parts/internalkso/kerbin_orbiter_engines_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Parts/internalkso/kerbin_orbiter_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Parts/internalkso/kerbin_space_station_norm_NRM texture = KSO/RPM/MFD_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Spaces/internalkso/analog_gauges_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Spaces/internalkso/cockpit_interior_lower_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Spaces/internalkso/cockpit_interior_norm_NRM texture = KSO/Spaces/internalkso/RCS_panel_norm_NRM } OVERRIDES { KSO/Spaces/.* { compress = true mipmaps = true scale = 2 max_size = 0 } KSO/Parts/kerbin_orbiter { compress = true mipmaps = true scale = 1 max_size = 0 } KSO/RPM/[^/]* { compress = true mipmaps = true scale = 1 max_size = 0 } }
  17. This could be a nice feature for this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53801-WIP-Survival-Pack-for-EVAs-%28looking-for-texture-artist%29
  18. @Shaw check this, http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/70089-Reflection-Plugin-Continued Could it be used in the helmet glass without lose the actual reflection of that part? Anyway I tried to use it, but don't know right now any part to configure a .cfg for the helmet or it glass, exists? and one more shoot, could TR Mod allow us to add a texture layer for use that reflections without modify original textures? I mean, one thing running in my head: could TR manage a new texture layer for the windows in the stock pods, which could use this new fancy reflections at low resolutions (for best performance)? This could be an awesome feature in order to get much more realistic glass in our ships and maybe in our kerbal suits.
  19. Excuse me if I'm bothering you, lol. But I have one more question: could be used in the stock textures in an easier way? I mean, it need modify the stock texture of a squad pod to add an alpha in the windows, for example. No? But, is not possible add a new texture only with the alpha, to be used as a layer for the reflections? This could allow add reflections to squad parts without modify stock textures or add new complete re-textures.
  20. Could it be used in the kerbal's helmet glass in some way? Texture Replacer Mod can modify that texture, but I don't know any "part" for helmet or it glass. That would be an awesome feature...
  21. I love it, I want to use it! How affects performance? frame drops? And one question I keep wondering... this reflects starfield??
  22. Nazari1382 how you set and try the paremeters for flames and smoke? Do you use some program to it?
