Could be possible to have a strut in the copernicus way? I mean, a octogonal strut without certain sides, to attach inside sideways tanks (which could be ejected).

Rbray, is the same image compression on basic and aggressive versions? I mean: if I use my aggressive settings in basic version... I'm gonna get the same that using agressive version? Are differences based only on configs, or in the compression hardness too? I like aggressive, but I find the compression a bit hard in combination with the reducing.

Seriously shaw, unbelievable work on this release. Your solution to get reflections on visors is clever, elegant and very simple (in the best of ways). This is (immo) one of the 10 must have mods for KSP in EVERY install.

During this days: Jool rings redone and improved, several changes in his clouds. Vall completly revamped again to fit better with stock when you change from orbit to surface. Laythe and Duna improved. Several changes in all planets and moons to enhance textures and its details. Textures completly optimized to maximize save memory. New male and female heads based on real and sci-fiction astronauts and cosmonauts (for example female heads based on Valentina Tereshkova -first woman on space- or bald Ripley!) Completed settings for DAO and VE. New improved textures for hot and cool rockets (including the new smoke effects). Chatterer sounds completed. ALCOR external version texture delayed, new ALCOR versions include emissions, so my texture must be redone. Release in one or two days, maybe before. (probably without alcor texture for the first release). -

It's not only trilinear filtering. You should specify correctly all normals maps in your .tcfg configs, to allow reducing (if it's necessary) but no the compression or mipmaps for it. This can seem contradictory but is a great saving of memory plus a quality enhancement for the normals. If after that you still don't like the results you can rise the "max_size_normals" to 512, to get even better normals maps without excessive memory increasing in aggressive modes. Edit: Believe me. I'm using over 35 mods in agressive mode, including heavy ones like KSO or Interstellar, and my game looks pretty nice while I'm only using from 2.1 to 2.6 of ram.

Why the first song played in space is not always the same? I made my own playlist, with a perfect theme to reach space (exits from atmosphere), but I've never heard it in the correct order. Don't know why is shuffling the songs. Usually even play first the squad songs, despite to be in the last places of the playlist. Oh, my, god. Would be awesome use that Kanon with my Bob Hadfield and take pics from it! Great idea!! Suggestion: Timed triggered screenshots from that point to make time lapses. Don't know if it's possible, but if it is... wouldn't be that the most awesome feature in any mod?

So you don't like my orange EVA/IVA or what? Just kidding, cool mods!. I'm very glad you like my textures, specially still freaking out of proud when I see people using my kerbals heads, I love them!. Btw, I like the white koviet version, you should try to made it a bit more brownish-creme version to reach more similarities. -

I speak about the exterior of the window. Reflection plug-in acts over the meshes, so if I want (as example) use it in the cupola I must convert the stock texture to TGA (bad); create a new "reflection layer" via alpha channel (modify a stock texture? too bad) and finally lose the stock look of the stock piece "just" to gain a realistic reflection in the windows. (as you see a very bad way to get a simple reflection in the windows) So I propose a new "piece" to add and get exterior reflections in stock pods and cockpits: an invisible overlay for the stock piece (cupola in this case) just with a polygon to cover the windows, apply a new glass texture and the reflection plugin to that mesh, not the original one. Maybe my english is too bad yet to explain this things clearly. Sorry. -

Just wanted to do a funny kind of bump thread. No more non-100%-related content. Promise. I have an infraction by this and I don't want more. But "seriously": a little sense of humor would be much better than that type of attitudes. In fact and about this concrete case, immo and as a creative, I think that any pop culture piece mixed with the game universe expands the game in self (generating memes -in his vast meaning-, role sympathy, impacting much more across cultural conexions and so on...). Why exists things like Kerbalizer? It's just Kerbals with content not related to the game. Another very simple example: the flags. Why people do, for example, his country flags for a game about an hypotetical/alternative kind as the kerbals? There you go. Nothing related, just people creating cultural ties between the game and his lives. -
