Hello Everyone! Well here it is. Epic Tank Battle requested by francescorusso1986 & OG originalgrahamster. Big shout out to them for coming up with the idea. This took me a little while. Well I managed to perfect the firing since my sniper video. Turning off engine gimble helped. Also changing to the round probe really made a difference. Due to no moving parts I had to adjust shots by engine power. Had issues with wobbly wheels affecting the shots so had to work round that too as was getting miss fires. The other issue was kerbals de spawning so each tank had to be slightly different. The music track came from a album my mum had when I was young( about the same time you were born francescorusso As soon as you guys requested the video I already knew what music is going on it, copyright claim or not lol. I was wondering, what if, in a KSP battle, either through savefile exchange or multiplayer, is it a good idea to fly up to an enemy ship, aim away from them, and fire the engines? As structural panels have a heat tolerance that is the same as a fuel tank, adding metal armor would be worthless. Wing armor is a bit more thermally resistant, though. I'd assume that a bigger engine, or some modded high power fusion/antimatter/handwavium drive would be better at this.

I kinda got bored so i will make this series, expect infrequnt updates The premise here is that Gaelkind colonized every single world that orbits Ciro, but has since broke into smaller warring faction. The story centers one one of them called Gaelia Remata, one of the warring faction that is determend to reunite the system again. Before i spoil litearly the entirity of the plot let start the Prologe. Ofc thanks to @Galileo for making the Galileo Planet Pack so this series is able to exist in the first place. Chapter 0 - Prologue Chapter 1 - Part 1 - First Victory Prologue The República Gaelia is a mighty republic. It spans accros the entirity of the Galilean system. It has made turned every single world prosperous. But those are long bygone days, The República Gaelia has since collapsed under its imense weight into many warring factions. Among the mightest is the Otho-Gauss-Nero Federation, the largest of the warring facitons. But everyone underestimates our determination of uniting the entirty of the Galilean system again one victory at a time.

Hear me out, lets say If you start to fly over a certain area on the globe, you'll get a screen message saying, "You have entered - Territory", and if you don't leave in 120 seconds or so, 1-3 attack aircraft are spawned using vessel mover somehow, and intercept and form up on you before the two minutes are over. The aircraft would likely be already pre designed for vanilla and the mods dependencies, which would be BDA, Vessel Mover, and Physics Range Extender at least. The aircraft can be a number of roles based on what your current craft type is, such as if you're a lander type it'll spawn an A-10, SU-25, or some type of ground strike vehicle, where as if you're a plane it'll spawn a fighter, so on so forth. If you enter a region and shoot down an aircraft, public relations will drop like 10% with that Nation, If its under 50% you're at war, and have to place defenses in order to protect the KSC, or wherever you're launching from. Please help me make this happen, I've wanted to do this for so long and now that KSP has had its final update, I think it'd be plausible for years of fun. I would code it myself but I'm horrible so there's that lol (Possibly make your own dif nations attack craft? idk, it would be cool to fight a design that isn't mine that I haven't looked for and downloaded, much love)

I've been thinking; warfare in KSP2 using mods and multiplayer would be awesome, much more so than in KSP1. In KSP1 you need a lot of mods if you want to play war. You need mods to make bases and cities, you need mods like BDArmory so you can actually fight, and if you're not doing it alone you'll need a multiplayer mod. Most of the time the fighting only happens on Kerbin, and when its in space its usually role play and not strategy based. With the new base system in KSP2 and stock multiplayer, you won't need nearly as much mods, but playing war will (most likely) work much differently. Not only can you fight on other planets without needing to haul weapons and vehicles across space, but you can fight each other's bases and fight for control over parts of a planet/moon, or fight for total control over the whole thing. Imagine scouting a planet for a good spot to place a strategic base! Maybe you've found a good canyon and you can put a fighter base at the base of a cliff, or you have a tall point of land that you place a fort on to protect the nearby area. It'll be fun to play war in KSP2 less as role play but actual strategy in multiplayer. When a weapons mod eventually comes to KSP2, playing war in multiplayer would be very fun IMO CLARIFICATION: I'm not saying stock KSP2 should have weapons and some kind of focus on warfare. That should be delegated solely to mods and how you yourself play KSP.

This is the all new U.K.N. thread, it is where we upper governments will control the future of KSP2 servers that we play on and lead everyone to a better future. Guidelines will be added in based on a democratic system, of course this is a work in progress and it will slowly be developed to the point where we will have weekly polls and we we debate on an issue that need be taken care of. There will be a weekly paper that will go into the specifics of what the primary issue is and peoples ideas to solve said issue. Now of course we are over a year away from the release of KSP2 but as I always say, "A planned system is a working system.". I strive for an economy and the economy strives for balance and peace!

Aircraft Mission Sharing/ Build Challenge I wanted to put forward the idea of a challenge where people can put forward ideas for and create different mission scenarios set in RealSolarSystem Mod such as a city fortified with tanks or a Bomb target somewhere in WW2 Germany and then let anyone who wants to download the save file then design their own Aircraft to complete the mission. I think this could create some really fun possibilities like building an A-10 like plane to take out a line of tanks or a WW2 Bomber with the range to reach Berlin from London to avoid BF109 interceptors and drop its bombs and return home. If anyone has any ideas or wants to take part let me know!

As multiplayer will be a thing, a large number of people will be setting up roleplay and PVP-enabled servers, so, that presents them with a very interesting set of challanges. The most important one is transportation. The best option i see is a mod that facilitates FTL travel, or some kind of kraken drive ( to reach ~C ). What do you think the community will prefer? As for weapons, the stock parts can provide good (but limited) weapon capabilities. Some that come to mind are : Mini-missiles Engine plume accelerators Reaction wheel cutters Deorbit claw Colony irradiator Kraken drive interstellar missile Weaponizable Kraken glitch creator Kessler syndrome generator, mass debris cloud deployment Concentrated directional debris cloud driven mission launch disruptor satellite station. For ground defense, i think most efficient approach would be a missile with a fairing containing thousands of small struts, or cubes, that would be deployed in a cloud to destroy any incoming object, kind of like the distuptor satellite, but with a much higher debris density(this could also be deployed by a ship to protect itself). This only works if the part-breaking system remains similar to KSP-1. Some cool mods that not only PVP, but all modded servers would benefit from: Energy shields (for ships and colonies) Missile Shields Detection satellites Just disabling the ability for people to break other people's ships or Safezones. So, what do you think combat will look like? Those weapon ideas are made on the spot. What can you come up with? What about defending against them? How will large interstellar Warships work? Physics exploits? Mods that add in FTL drives?

So, yeah. I want the know how to build a missile that includes target functionality. Like you double click on something and it pulls up a target sas mode. I need an atmospheric and space faring version. Can both take down a building. (Any.) I'm quite new only 130-ish hours on KSP and I want this for my Kethane Wars video. Don't care how big. Make some physic-bug ones if you want and make sure it can fit in a 1.25 meter hull or mk2 payload. (Full size.)

Basically, you attach a lot of boosters on decouplers to the side of the main rocket. When you are high enough, decouple everything and send missiles flying in every direction. Very stupid, especially in career as it is a money dump and danger to your buildings. ( somehow though none of my buildings have been destroyed by this ) But maybe someone could make it useful...

Kerbin Kollapse is our attempt at starting a stock multiplayer war in KSP. We're using a discord server to organize the war and keep track of everything. The link for the discord is down below for those who don't need more info and want to jump right in. Kerbin Kollapse isn't entirely stock. It has to take in use a few mods to make it work. The most important of these are LunaMultiplayer and vesselmover. There's no part mods or anything that makes the weaponry and such easier to make. All the vehicles need to be made fully functional in stock version of KSP. It might be hard, but the challenge is the entire point of it. You can choose from a small number of nations. Each one has borders that can only be expanded by taking land from others. You will need to play tactically. This is not like those small dogfights and such we have right outside the ksc. It will happen all around Kerbin. (Note that this war will not have space combat. Inside atmosphere only.) You can ally with other nations and form alliances if you want, but you have to talk with the rest of the players in your nation/team before allying someone. Your can also do trading with other nations. And example would be exchanging a tank design for ore (ore is the resource required to spawn in crafts). We are not very strict here and will help you with anything you need. Can't make a good autoloader, gun, or warhead? Need better tracks, engine or turret mechanisms? Ask for ideas. Don't be scared off. The game is complicated, but you'll understandt it quickly. We'll explain any questions you might have. Minor details can be found in the discord server. So, I was messing around for the Naval Battles! (Defeat other player ships) Challenge (its awesome, check it out) and I built a space battleship but couldn't find a place to put it. So this happened! Rules: Stock Battles: Start battles at about 5km distance in Kerbin orbit, combat is turn based with each ship in a fleet getting a turn in a Team A1-B1-A2-B2-A3-B3 fashion. NO INFINITE FUEL/ELECTRICITY!!! BDA battles: to be added, though it seems that high Gilly orbit should work

I’m interested in doing a KSP turn based war using BD armoury, similar to “fall of kerbin” and “kollaborative warfare”. The game will require 2 or more players/teams, building there own vessels and setting up defenses and attacking each other’s bases by taking it in turns to pass around the save file. Should be really good fun! I’ve tried doing a similar thing by myself but that’s getting boring now! Will need to come up with rules. Reply if interested

This is my first attempt to make a video story for KSP... The Great Kerbal Konflict. The two sides are KUC(Kerbal Union of Countries)(the good guy), and the IKS(Independent Kerbal States)(the evil guys). The IKS's goal: claim all of Kerbin for itself. Em mods so don’t know if this is in the right section so just move it to whare it should be thanks! MAP: the orange and purple have parts hidden for some reason-not finished still being changed (The red and yellow are already taken, gray orange pink and Wight are non players with very few defences) So me and some other peaple are planing a war series with BDA and some other mods and we need two other players to join and take control of one country. The war won’t start until after Christmas or sometime around that but it will have lots of mods and probably will be very pc intensive. MOD LIST game version 1.2.2 or 1.3 still working on it You need to think of a name and flag for your country and a bit of backstory coment if interested
