What will you do first in 1.0?

Learn the new aero model. Many of my rocket, spacecraft, and mission designs are based on aerodynamic simulations that I perform outside of the game. I'll have to learn how the new aero model works, modify my simulations, and develop new design guidelines.

pretty much this. I'll launch a craft and see what I have to do to make it explode on re-entry. Then I'll go just a little slower than that...

After that I will rebuild my Apollo replica and increase how stock it is.

In my mind, if you can't build an accurate looking Apollo 1-Apollo 17 in stock then the game is not ready for release. Fairings are a good step on the way to that being reality. Larger fuel tanks or procedural fuel tanks would be another step.

After the innitial first look at everything new, and testing how the new aerodynamics compare to FAR and old souposphere, by seeing what my shuttle handles like, I'll have a look at the Tutorials and Scenarios, just cause I haven't looked at them since I bought the game back in 0.22, and I wanna see what they did with it. Then I'll play through career, stock, on normal settings, and then I'll see from there. 1.1 might be on the horizon by the time I get through that career. If not, a heavily modded sandbox mode to bridge the time is probably gonna happen.

Check if there are new planets. If so, I will explore. If not, I will exit the game because it won't be worth my time.

After the huge amount of work and large array of features SQUAD will have put into this update, you will disregard this due to "no planets". A teensy bit rude and disrespectful?

Make a Mun Base (when contracts call for it). Make a Mimnus Base (because dem hills and flats need to be explored). Make a Duna Station AND a Duna Base (and make sure Jeb, Bill, Bob, AND Val are in it). Make space planes that double (to an extent) as rockets. Mine the new resources for 1.0.

Well, I'll probably check out my most successful spaceplane designs to see if they still fly properly. Then I'll get to work on my Super Fueler SSTO (the goal of which is to get a full Kerbodyne tank to a 125km orbit, dock with a station, and return to KSC), which will hopefully have much less lag and much more space. Once the few mods I do use are updated, I'll get working on the rockets; culminating in a career mode where I put a kerbal on all of the planets (at least), on hard mode this time!
