Its the one im using. Its not my preferred which is the default and as of 1936 was broken for 13 hours. Being on mobile atm im not risking the move back to my preferred setting. Not until its confirmed fixed. But as stated previously given my belief our forum expires 03-28-2025 i am not expecting it fixed as i fully expect (until the powers that be who hold our license) explicitly told my expectation is wrong. Logic: if its going to shut down anyway, why fix it? Again, this is my personal expectation. If i am wrong i would rather it be for believing our forum is shutting down rather than believing it will be renewed only to see i was wrong. One i can accept, one i cannot. Further logic used: constant bad gate ways, periods of total systems failures, now todays error coupled with loud silence from the IP holder(s) and the license holder leads belief in these being the end times. Sorry to rant but, can ya blame me? 221902222015

Mysterious breakages. We don't know why. @Deddly and @Anth tinkered with things until it seems to be fixed, at least for the moment.

I just got a weird error about the forum: my phone showed a screen with the forums url and stated it was not private and may be trying to steal my private data. @Vanamonde was this a glitch or a new symptom of what may be only a few days out? Do we need to worry about what i saw?

That error usually appears when https fails for some reason. Was it just a one-off?

So far yes. Keeping an eye on it. But im still skeptical it isnt a portent of what is likely coming 4 days from now. 110803242025

Nothing happened 4 days from then; isn't it about time to drop this?

Actually a lot has happened. It was confirmed we were renewed thru early october. So other than you commenting on this just now, well 36 minutes ago it had been “dropped”. Or does me not brining it back mean something else to you?

There have been some changes in the last year and there are moderators who I haven't noticed around for 2 years.

Any chance of updating the "Your Moderators" thread?

We can review it but some of the guys have seasonal commitments or help in ways that are not obvious, so a lack of visible activity doesn't prove absence. :D

Guys, it doesn't matter if a thread is old as long as the info in it is not obsolete. Please do not clutter threads with off-topic remarks about their age.

Some comments removed.

When reading an old thread the forum software suggests opening a new one instead posting to an old one.  Perhaps this automated suggestion should be removed so as to prevent confusion.

I imagine the suggestion is to make it easier for admins to archive much older threads in a separate location to ease server load and such for current activity.  But this may not matter depending on the situation

It's a suggestion. Not an order.

(Also, question moved to a more appropriate thread.)
