Karmville mod & Contract Pack:

All buildings start off at level 0 (Ie, no buildings). 

Contracts are offered to plant and harvest certain crops.  Science is rewarded for completion. 

Eventually you will have enough science points to leave the agrarian culture you are in, and start a space program.

Devastating Storms Mod

Add unrealistically strong storms in unexpected locations.

On Kerbin, occasionally there will be surface storms. The high altitude layer is permanently clad in storms.

Duna has huge dust storms powerful enough to topple tall landers.

For Eve, there is a permanent global chaotic storm. Even on the surface, the wind is strong enough to blow your stock heavy lander away.

On Laythe, electric storms from interactions with Jool's magnetic field blow across the surface, destroying any craft struck by one of the zillions of powerful lightnings.

Trying to aerobrake at Jool results in you being flung out even faster, somehow.

Even the Kerbol's sun storms are powerful enough to propel your craft out with delta-v greater than 100 m/s per day, out away from the Sun.

Taking this one or two steps down, this doesn't sound like a terrible mod

You underestimate the dedication of some people here...

 

A mod that adds a bunch of no frills basic but essential things that would make the game much better, like:

-adding switchable fighter jet/futuristic (like the old days) textures to the mk1 and mk2 cockpits

-adding 2 stock rotors, one powered and one unpowered

-adding an electric thermal turbojet

-adding larger solar panels and more powerful ion engines

-adding a small no-hassle nuclear reactor like NASA's proposed Kilopower Project for said ion engines

-adding 2d clouds and rudimentary rayleigh scattering to atmospheric planets

-adding a modified version of the procedurally generated craters algorithm to different planets to add procedurally generated mesas to duna and procedurally generated canyons and mountains to dres and moho (just to make them more interesting)

-also adding a massive mountain like Olympus Mons to duna would be really cool

-adding a faint ring texture to the area around dres where asteroids spawn

-adding larger blue asteroids AKA comets

From the developer that bronught you the Fast Dog Mod Plus, comes another great new mod

Space Center Overhaul

Are you tired of the boring old stock space center? Do you want something more from your space center? Do you feel a vast emptiness in your life that can only be filled by a new KSP space center? If so, this mod is right for you. Every single building has been completely revamped. Improvements include;

  • The runway is now as wide as it is long, and had a jump at the end.
  • The spaceplane hanger is 5% larger in all dimensions.
  • The launch pad has a giant spring on it to help those rockets get off the ground.
  • The VAB is twice as tall, and has a pool on the roof.
  • The tracking station is shaped like an eye, and the satellite dish array next to it has been replaced with a ring of 40 satellite dishes around the entire space center.
  • The astronaut complex is now a starbucks.
  • The flag pole has a statue of Jeb at the top
  • The R&D complex now has 50% more sciency stuff, such as laser beams, random explosions, and an anti-mass spectrometer.
  • Mission Control is now located 2 kilometers away from the rest of the Space Center, just in case.
  • The administration building is now a 300 foot tall skyscraper, with the ability to lease out floors to financial companies.
  • Miscellaneous structures, such as fuel tanks and the water tower, are now covered in a purple and black checkered pattern

But that's not all! There are also several all new structures!

To complement the Vehicle Assembly Building and the Spaceplane hanger, Space Center Overhaul adds:

  • Non-spaceplane hanger
  • Kerbal assembly building
  • Secret Underground missile factory

Other features include:

  • There's now a large casino on the beach
  • There's a secret missile silo next to the launch pad
  • There's a non secret missile silo next to the secret one
  • There's a 3 floor underground parking garage next to the administration building
  • SAM missile launcher array in the middle of the center, shoots down any aircraft coming in faster than 200m/s
  • Fast dog mod support

Good Multiplayer: Fooled you!

Fuel Leaks: All of your tanks leak fuel and are still made of lead. (Note: Due to code being preserved in the persistent.sfs files between uses, uninstalling this mod is impossible.)

Just Plane Smart: This mod adds ablative heatshields that are meant specially for wing surfaces! The catch is the next update guarantees that the heatshields automatically decouple at Max-Q during the descent  (they get up to 4 km/s before impacting your wing.)

One DeltaV Monitor and Nothing Else: This will be made stock approximately eight years from now.

Strunk and White's Space Program: Due to an error with Oxford Commas, to complete contracts you must now be landed on the surface of Kerbin and in Low Kerbin Orbit at the same time.

Movie Physics: Special, easy physics apply until your astronomers spot a massive asteroid traveling toward Kerbin, at which point any astronauts on EVA spontaneously die because the two meters per second velocity difference between them and the spacecraft is an insurmountable problem.

The Lens Cap mod.

This mods is compatible with all mods that add telescopes. This mod adds a protective cover to protect telescopes from damage from pointing at the sun. This cap must removed manually before use by an EVA Kerbal. Also, to prevent sun damage, the cap must be replaced, also by a Kerbal. :D
