I'm 53, and I'm not sad at all... look at it this way, as kids we got to see the birth of the space race, the exploration of the solar system, and some of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time!!!  

I feel bad some of the younger members missed out on some really cool stuff!

Yeah, I vaguely remember Apollo 11. I remember Skylab and Apollo Soyuz. When the Voyagers returned high-resTMpictures of the outer planets. Viking on Mars.

It's not all bad. :D

I remember my grandparents totally encouraged me to watch the first moon landing.  
In fact, that was the very first time they let me eat in their living room so I didn't have to miss anything!
