Not to start a discussion, just pointing out that Icarus was the one from mythology that flew very close to the sun Could perhaps be suitable for a planet(oid) that orbits closer than Moho does. RedParadize
That look realy good! Any of these moon will have atmosphere? I looking for a colonisable planet in fact. Gauss would be a nice desert colony.

Vorg
I would prefer to see them added to the kerbol system, not a replacement. Just a thought, but to solve the problem of planets farther and farther out, as posted above, add a small one in system and/or put something in a mirror orbit. If you have a planet that is close to the same size/mass of a planet in the game, it could be put on/close to the orbit of the stock planet, but on the other side of Kerbol. Beetlecat
Wow... And I mean wow. I feel an excited panic over the thought of a *new* OPM... (or some strange hybrid that emerges... )

Doc Shaftoe
Gauss reminds me of the gas giant in Star Citizen's public universe alpha. I can't get over the fidelity you managed to pull off with this. Have you considered doing something similar for Jool in a future iteration of SVE? In SVE I have a bunch of cloud layers surrounding jool which I could get rid of but then I'll be asked a thousand times about why I don't have rotating cloud layers. Eh. Shadriss
As stated, simply beautiful work, Gal. I'd like to chip in on the thought of NOT making this a seperate system... for, I'll admit, selfish reasons. I have a hard enough time getting to places IN the current system. I can't imagine having planets that look this good that I may never manage to get to.

Fobok
If you do that, I hope (not actually asking that you do, though, just hopeful) you can get it at least testable by (or shortly after) 1.2. I'm starting a new career then, and planning to settle in for a long haul. But I'd probably want to start fresh when this comes out.

I want to try but the issue I'm having is figuring out how to replace entire bodies like rss does.. I'm sure it's more work than I think it is. Maybe @NathanKell can fill me in? WAY easy. ok so now you can definitely expect a new solar system to replace the stock version.... im very excited Fantastic! Very much looking forward to it. Of course that decision is yours. I see why you say that, but for some of us still trying to get out of Kerbin SOI in a meaningful way, I'd hate to delay the opportunity of fly by/to these wondrous celestial bodies for however many years of real time it would take me to conquer the stock system then move on to this one. It'll be what it will be, though, and maybe I'll just have to gaze enviously at this thread for a while. Marvelous job, @Galileo
