Superfluous J
I've dug into my library at some past loves and bounced off several of them before settling on Into the Breach. What a fantastic game. I had burned out on it not long after the major content update came out, so in addition to relearning all the mistakes to not make, I had to actually learn all the new weapons, maps, enemies and pilots this amazing game has to offer. DDE
Can anyone recommend X4? How does it compare to Elite, and visa versa? I think I might have a new itch to scratch. Edited November 2 by DDE

I think I might have a new itch to scratch. I have played a lot of the X series in the past and its a solid series and definitely worth playing. I have X4 in my inventory and will probably transition over to that one next once I have grown completely bored with Starfield, which at 400 hrs, seems to be at its limit for me. Fizzlebop Smith
Picked up Elin. Simple yet Immersive Survival Crafter. It is successor to Elona, some game I never hear of before. I wish I had though. It is very Early Access at this stage but seems to be shaping up to be built on a moddable system and delivers some satisfying depth for this stage. I hope they add some mechanics similar to Necesse where the villagers handle the minor grind work.
Batavia
Started playing Titanfall 2 recently, the campaign made me cry for the first time in 2 years or smth, and the multiplayer also brought me to tears for a different reason. Lol
DDE
If you ever wanted to play as Akim Kovalyov tele-operating an F-860 Fyodor robot competing with Chinese and British space megacorps on Enceladus, Saturn is your pick. It's a free, admittedly mediocre RPG on Steam, that I play out of mere national interest - it's been ages since I consumed any Russian-language sci-fi content. It's unlikely the numerous pop culture references and memes will translate effectively. Spoiler OK, not all of them
Kerbalsaurus
Picked up Cities: Skylines again, this time with a vision. I've started on buidling a German city, called Nordseewiese, set in the fictional state of Verwirrung, on the Verstehen River. SO far it's only at ~8,000 residents, but for the area of the city that's actually really dense. These are all pictures of the historic district, called Altstadt. Fizzlebop Smith
I have played Dungeons and Dragons for 20+ years and only recently began to elevate my game. I have been developing "Skill Challenges" with amazing success at getting player participation and feel my dream of retiring into a profession GM / story teller may be closer to realized. If anyone plays tabletop RPGa and familiar with skill challenges, please shoot my a DM. I am working on a work flow template for Chat GPT that produces fully realized challenges off of very little input. There is one day a hope of producing a free online tool for other DMs to use. I would like feedback from other DMs / GMs if possible. Edited 14 hours ago by Fizzlebop Smith
