How small do you have to write, before it becomes digital media?

Digital media is when things aren't what it is, rather just an instruction on how to remake it.

At least true for sound. (should be true on text either, given encoding.)

Ok, so, can someone please show me how to make a hardcopy backup of my KSP build?

Is there an export function or....?

Open all the files you wish to save with a text editor and copy down all the characters. :P

Seriously, the .sfs (save) files and .craft files can be opened with text editors.

I'm gonna assume this is some manner of forum word exchange censorship or one amazing auto-derp...
Even trying to guess it, I still have no idea what you're talking about? Circle tool to do what?

Worse... I feel like "countryballs" should be the name of something served on a plate in Texas or Wyoming...
And not knowing (but guessing) what word was originally there, well... I don't like that thought... :/

Oh good, I don't have to feel weird about uncertainty anymore!

Countryballs, the first of which was Polandball.

Some examples.

I hate it when people use the circle tool to make countryballs.

Well, trying to go too perfect.

Oh... So that's an actual literal description of a thing that exists...
Huh... I learned something new and mostly useless, but mildly amusing today! :D

I still feel like "countryballs" should be the name of some dish served at a restaurant that also has an "If you can eat the whole thing, it's free" deal...

Today I learned that every family has someone who is thought to be a grade A screw-up, and the other members talk bad about him/her behind this back.

If you think 'Well, my family is very good, they don't talk about a family member behind his/her back!' Well, get ready to be shocked, YOU are the Grade A screw-up!

I was shocked as well... :(...I knew I was not up to par with my family's standards, but visual and verbal confirmation hit me like a train..

Turns out that all those love and peace quotes floating around the internet by a bunch of random dead people are almost, if not absolute, kowmulch.....

I've read the last few posts with a sorta chuckle...

Here, we sit in the twenty-first century bragging about our technological intellect - and we see that it's possible to still lose data with everything we have access to... (not chuckling about the loss of a pet, but about the loss of data...)

Yet on my bookshelf are three books - a U.S. history book published in 1876, a copy of the United States Army's Articles of War (1900), and a conductor's train schedule for KCS, dated 1927. Just kind of ironic, if you ask me...

so the marching band is the best school activity thing at our school, cause our football team isn't as good for...reasons. you would think that at some point they would say "hey everybody! the marching band is pretty good! give some sort of cheering thing for them!" right?

well I've been counting for the last month and a half, and we've been thanked not once, not twice, not thrice, but not at all. you'd think that winning our division at all three competitions and almost sweeping the captions would warrant SOME sort of announcement right? nah, lets just thank the football team for another loss at <school>!

come on, we've worked harder then the football team and it shows. but no, ignore the halftime show and all of our winning stuff

tl;dr: school doesn't thank marching band or even acknowledge us

You have to account for a slight survivorship bias, but protecting a physical object is a possibility.

Today I found out that our class 11 computer science lessons are a complete and utter waste of (my) time.
At least I think so, because we're not going to be taught about object-oriented programming languages until 12th grade, and I seriously start doubting that we'll ever actually do anything better than...

...Scratch.

However, that complaint was already made.

But it gets worse.
Adding insult to injury is the fact that my class is the first one to have this system. If I got into school just 1 year earlier I would not write this now.

If you can get the modules/material off last year's then I bet you can learn the more advanced stuff alongside the official ones.

Plus there's quite a number of online things on those. At least be glad that programmers are always tech-savy.

Being hungry is most certainly relevant, when this is the reference! Better to be the dog in this particular scenario! :sticktongue:

I'm a dumb-SAS that must learn to keep his big mouth shut.

I'm supposed to know better, by the Kraken's sake - I'm the self-proclaimed dinosaur on this industry.

Ok. I vent it out. Move on, nothing (else) to see here. :P

I wish to know why they cancel the series which I like, when they are even a bit different from the usual sickly luscious fantasy.

Where are s2 of Olympus or Emerald City. Or the fresh Outpost and Extinct.

Why those endless deecees, marvels, and other sleepy soap.

Happily, Gotham, Z-Nation, and Van Helsing are still here. And Preacher, too.

I find myself watching less and less television these days. And the shows I do watch I find myself critiquing much more harshly. I think I may be turning into a cranky old man.

Can you please like Grey's Anatomy?

It really does seem like the more vapid and brainless the show, the higher the ratings. The networks certainly seem to think so, because as each new season premieres they appear to be in a race to the bottom.
