Lisias
In the last weeks I had to diagnose one of the ugliest problems I even encountered on my current job, and (don't ask) the solution for it will be implement a proxy to myself (really, don't ask. I'm still digesting it). Then I remembered this music, and it's ringing on my head the whole day!
adsii1970
There are songs from your youth that you know what the song is with just a three note introduction. For me, this is one of the songs. And sorry, yes, I used the radio edit (clean version) instead of the original 8 minute release that contains lyrics that some folks may consider offensive. Ah yes, that was an anthem from my youth, when Canada blocked MTV in favour of the homegrown MuchMusic channel. Given MTV had the “I Want my MTV!” slogan at the time, that was quickly adopted by all the liquided Canadian teens “That ain’t workin’, that’s the way you do it! Now excuse me while I install our new OTR microwave oven (joke; I won't be installing it); the custom kitchen is getting delivered/installed next Monday (no joke, we don’t even have a kitchen sink right now) Edited July 21, 2021 by StrandedonEarth

Boy, that was a riot - they easily crawled their way into the top 5 of the whole country in just few years. They were the first to broadcast 24/7 , at that time every broadcaster turned off the transmitters from 2:00AM to 6:00AM (at least, some stopped at 00:00AM) - not to mention a lot of (at that time) controversy shows that were an astound hit. I can say that a good part of my sense of humour and music aesthetics were shaped by the 90's MTV. On their last 10 or 15 years (they closed at 2013), their targets were way different than my generation and so I ended up losing interest on it - unsurprisingly, as it almost 25 years since the last time someone could be called me an "young" - but yet, it was a blow for me the same. An important part of my youth ceased to exist.

Well what about them combined? How the hell do these two work so well together?
