What are the best mods for 1.3.1?

I'm bored of the usual graphics, parts and all those stuffs and decided to download mods.

But I'm not interested in the ones I found.

So, I rarely ask for someone else's opinion ( idc about theirs xd), but what are the best mods you know/knew/will know/have/had/will have/see/saw/will see/about to see/*past*about to see was about to see/etc etc? ? ?

Dangit! I have at least half those installed and still don't have a win! Can I buy another card?

OP: set of KIS/KAS, Extraplanetary Launchpads, and Ground Construction allows you to build and modify ships elsewhere. Start up a Dres-based orbital shipyard!
Or check out Kottabos' YouTube reviews (I recommend speeding up to 2x as he talks a lot) and a few others for ideas.

Some off the top of my head that I probably couldn't play without at this point.

A few others that are really nice to have around:

I realize these three are part mods, but they're way more than just "Here have some more fuel tanks and engines""

If you really want a different game take a look at Roverdude's Kolonisation mod.  New parts for bases and stations but tied in with the life support system to include quite a few different resource chains.

I always use RemoteTech (need to set up proper communications network to be able to control unmanned craft) and Scansat (several sensors to map planets/moons, and contracts to do that).

I'm always looking to increase the challenge and strategic elements of KSP. So I can no longer play without:

BARIS, introduces part failures and reliability, strategic elements, and random events into your game. If all you want is part failures and reliability increases use UPFM.

Kerbal Construction Time, which makes building craft, unlocking tech nodes, and upgrading the KSC take time. Again, more strategy. Especially when combined with

Monthly Budgets changes how funds work in KSP; instead of recieving funds based on your contract completions, you will receive funds each month based on your space program's reputation. It is fantastic.

I'm also using a bunch of contract mods, especially the Career Evolution pack, and the Unmanned Before Manned -CTT tech tree, which promote starting with unmanned rocket flights and aircraft before moving on to kerbaled space exploration. I've homemade gobs of tech tree configs to make various part packs fit in with UBM.

Speaking of part packs, if you like building airplanes, you absolutely must use Airplane Plus. APP has propeller engines, new cockpits, 2.5m airliner parts and cargo bays, and much more.

Also, an ice moon so close to Kerbol seemed  weird to me :wink:  so I'm glad it's a comet now.

Can't remember off the top of my head where IR continued is though.

I am successful at using all these mods together , for anybody that finds it interesting, it all works in 2020 downgraded to the 1.3.1 version in Steam. For some reason, MKS with Pathfinder is broken for 1.3.1 if anybody has a working version, i'd be glad to have it! there is also Ubio Welding Co. that I need a working patch for 1.3.1.

I love all the mods that were released and that are still quite playable and stable on 1.3.1 ! I am updating the mod list, but so far, with no exceptions and multiple config changes, I am running 101 mods with OPM, clouds and scatterer, plus some elements of Kopernicus without anything bad going on, and no exceptions, with pretty Kerbal-ish framerates depending on parts :)
