frei /fraj/ = free, but the Deutsch like to misspell "ee" as "ei". I just was thinking that Fry is misspelled Frei.

en /en/ = /ing/ ing, obvious gerund.

So, "zu befreien" = "(to make / for making) [it] get free"

If it's not obvious, I even don't know how to explain...

Banned for being no fun. ;)

It's "Is your fridge running?" in Finnish. I just thought of something random that looked unpronounceable, but I don't know enough Finnish yet to know if Finnish has different words for 'running' as in moving, or 'running' as in functioning, just like how German differentiates between the bird and construction equipment 'crane' (Kranich and Kran respectively)
