I know that HEB is "big" in texas and has run groceries out of the area, but, unless you are in texas or have passed through it, its surprising to see it mentioned. I mean unless you have watched NBA games with either the rockets, mavericks, and or spurs and seen the store advertised on the screens in the arenas. Huh. I don't spend much time in the Southern US but when I do, 100% of it is in Texas. HEB is so big there I just figured it was more prevalent than apparently it is.

Its in just texas and northern mexico. I think msybe 1 or 2 stores in louisiana but thats it. 033702062025

mom was being an idiot with her finances, to make sure it wasn't a glitch, she did it again 2 days later. now we cant pay the electric bill. yay. and no more cab rides from the grocery store either. she thinks she can sell her stuff on ebay, and of course wants me to do all the work. maybe i can use this incident as leverage to get her to sign the caregiver support forms. with pay (and this is a government subsidy, it costs her nothing, except maybe her free tax exemption card and some food stamps) id be in a better situation to help her cover the electric bill and others.

It is a different crop of young-uns than we were (I will turn 55 this year). I would never have dreamed of using profanity at a college professor - or any adult -- in my late teens or early 20s. But then again, it was a different culture then. I joined the Army after a year and a half of university life. Let me tell you what - I wouldn't dare take that tone with a drill sergeant either!

Probably in like, the parts of the state that might as well be eastern Texas anyways. Like Shreveport.  Besides, Louisiana has our own regional grocery store (Rouses), and its already colonizing out to the Florida panhandle.

Depending on where you live, getting paid as a family caregiver may not be that easy (I've been trying for 4 years, keep getting run around and sent dead end "helpful" links that aren't actually helpful at all).

Yeah, I think it might be a generational thing, because I was a 00s kid, and at least for my age group, cussing in general isn't seen as a big deal, even around adult-ier adults. Like, cussing at people is still rude, but around them is not even a second thought unless there's an actual child nearby.

I was thinking the border area between texas and louisiana just wasnt think specific cities. Its been YEARS (30+ since i was last in louisiana so my info is way outdated lol 195602072025

It's two weeks that all I do in KSP is to diagnose and fix problems.

I usually enjoy doing it, but this time (reasons that I don't want to disclose), it affected me and got on my bad side.

I will be away from KSP and Forum this WeekEnd. I'm planning to spend it maratoning Love Death +Robots, revisiting Cowbow Beebop and perhaps even Ghost in the Shell. And perhaps touch some grass?

In a way or another, I don't plan to be near an airport for some time. Just in case. I live in Sao Paulo, where that plane crashed today.
