There's a Russian quip: "I'm an artist, and that's the way I see it." Don't be mean to interns who only have 30 seconds to Google a clip. I'm honestly surprised its taken them this long to get an anime spin on the franchise. Also Visions seems to be non-cannon so chill about everyone being crazy-OP and just enjoy it. If not wait for the other 8 SW series being produced XD

The Japanese "The Hidden Fortress" by Kurosawa + the British "The Dam Busters" = Star Wars In his turn, Yoda was inspired to Lucas by Dersu Uzala from the Vladimir Arseniev's memoirs "The Last of the Udege", filmed by Kurosawa in the Japanese-Russian "Dersu Uzala" ecranization. The Kurosawa's Yoda. Spoiler The true, historical Yoda. Spoiler https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dersu_Uzala And pay attention: true Yoda used guns, screw the jedi toothpicks! He was ethnically Nanai and had no idea about anime. Edited August 21, 2021 by kerbiloid

TheSaint
Yeah. It's the worst kept secret in Hollywood that Lucas is a terrible filmmaker. He can't direct, he can't write, he can't do anything. The quality of each of the first six films in the Star Wars franchise is almost perfectly inversely proportional to the amount of direct input Lucas had in their creation. What he had was a story that he was passionate about. And the fact that that story, that passion, resonated with the audience is what really made the franchise so successful. I think it's a testament to how important that is in filmmaking, and in the creative arts in general. And I think it is something that is lacking in many if not most films, television shows, and novels today.

Well, I mean, how much can it resomate with you if it's not your story because you're doing a remake, a sequel, or the Xth MarDC movie? DDE
Fencer Fencer Fencer Interesting. It actually is MoD this time and not the much-maligned Ministry of Culture. I'm still very cautious, and not just because of the CGI. Edited August 23, 2021 by DDE
Beccab
Well, looks like we're getting the original Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Sandman and (possibly) Electro back here! The possibility of having Maguire and Garfield in the movie is also still open, leaving them out in the trailer would be a likely choice and that "Hello peter" could easily be a hint to that

Or better yet.... BATMAN versus the moon (as in memetic with prep time Batman)? People would watch just to see how in the world he pulls it off... because the rest of the league are on vacation for some reason LOL.
