SphericalTanks

  • Parts mod with five SphericalTanks with 1.25 m base from 0.625 to 10 t. (612.5L - 10,000L)
  • Five (5) 1.25m spherical tanks. Available in veteran orange.

CargoBays

  • A payload parts mod that adds three 2.5m round cargobays in 1m, 2m, and 4m lengths with fold-flat door design.
  • Three (3) 2.5m rocket cargo bays in 1m, 2m, and 4m lengths. Flat fold doors.

AeroRadial

  • An electrical parts mod adding two streamlined radially attached parts: one RTG and one Fuel Cell.
  • Two (2) streamlined, radially attached power products. One RTG, the other a Liquid Fuel and Intake Air powered fuel cell.

Fuselage

  • An aero parts mod adding adding seven (7) stock-alike flat fuselage parts.
  • Seven (7) flat fuselage pieces.

I vaguely remember the fuselage parts from the old days of KSP when I started using mods. I wanted to try them, but they were swallowed up by the forum and I wasn't able to find them again. I guess better late than never right? 

Ooo… spherical tanks that aren't associated with USI, now I have to start playing with those.

PS. After looking at the configs, you may want to raise the crash tolerance and decrease the max temp to bring them more inline with the stock parts.

Yes. :D all four of these are seemingly fairly popular on SpaceDock.

I would love to see the flat fuselage in say carbon fiber black, and maybe some blinkies on them - @bcink or another modeler might take some of their very precious time to update the models. :D (I can hope).

I will see if I can provide the SphericalTanks with other selectable textures. Am also considering releasing them in 0.625m, 1.875m, 2.5m, and 3.75m variants. What do you think?

the Factory Specified maxTemp has been raised due to additional post release testing from 1800° to 2000° in order to bring it in line with our competitors.

the crashTolerance of DaMichel's 1.25m SphericalTanks is 7, which is why you pay a premium for them. :D

compared to similar stock tanks.

not trying... :ohowever, I do have a backlog of mods to release - last count 20+ (mostly part mos) including some real favorites.

Hopefully they are quality not just quantity. :o:D

Next up: SimpleCargoSolutions; and maybe some long legs, and maybe a whole lotta ISP. :D

Thanks for taking on these mods. It might be nice to put the descriptions that are on the respective Spacedock pages in the OP here, because as it is, it is not necessarily obvious what these parts bring to the game.

Edit: Also, 3 of the mods (DMF, DST and DAR) are marked on Spacedock as being for 1.8.1, although the description says they are for 1.9.0. You may want to update this :)

CKAN also lists all four as compatible with 1.9; which they probably are, however I haven't even started up 1.9 yet. I have downloaded it; but soon™ I will fire it up. Once I do, and at least see that the parts pop, I will release for 1.9.

Thankfully I was shown an easy way to speed up my deployment by using .json's - thank you for pointing out the issue - I just updated the KSP.json for these parts and violai it now should be updated everywhere, at least on all the graphical. I can't do much about CargoBays on Spacedock.

I take it you have karbonite/karbonite+ installed?

As to the importance of it, I cannot tell unless I see the mm.log/mmpatch.log, or at least the portions that pertain.

I will try to install K/K+ today and see.  more news @11.

- looking at volumes between USI, DST, and stock - something is out of whack. Not Sphericaltanks (appears to be USI-Kontainers holding about 10% more than mathimatically possible)

the tanks should be spot on - in most regards. see posts above for slight changes suggested and will be addressed when I push out the next release soon™.

the AeroRadial should be spot on - at least the production part.

The Flat Fuselage - should also be close.

Cargobays should also be close

I spent the day working on some, um, mods, that fell into my lap and tracking down the licenses/permissions for others.

I would expect them to be a little higher because IIRC 90° angles radiate better - or do I have that backwards? 90° angles are bad in circuitry and fluid dynamic flows....

Most of the Mk1/Size 1 parts have a max temp of 1400-2000. I was thinking of matching the Mk1 fuselage parts and making them 1800. If you seen my GitHub suggestion, I explain my though process there.

For radiating, Im pretty sure its the exposed surface area that is important, not the angles.
