NVidia pricing makes no sense. I can't understand why people keep choosing their cards. Especially at the 3070/3080 performance level, the frame rate loss of raytracing is not worth it anyway. Do AMD cards have equivalent software to NVIDIA Control Panel where you can manually change certain apps's parameters individually and such? I was seriously considering giving up and getting an overprized 3060 as a last resort, but now I'm thinking about going for a RX 6600 or even 6700, which should be more or less on par with the 3060. I think it's probably that you've got fully mature 12nm Turning architecture on the 2060 vs 8nm Ampere architecture being used in an entry-level card on the 3050. But I haven't used Nvidia for years so don't take my word for it.
