StarSlay3r
A new part is born! To keep our toasty interstellar vessels cool, we've created an all-new procedural radiator system that allows you to make radiators of all shapes and sizes. Catto
YEs!!!! PROC PARTS!! Will Solar Panels be procedural too? Edited March 25, 2022 by siklidkid
Davi SDF
THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL FINALLY I CAN USE HUGE RADIATORS WITHOUT MY GAME RUNNING AT 2 FPS!
The Aziz
You know what it is? It's screenshot time.

Luminous
Absolutely love the procedural parts. As a KSP veteran, this is huge and I cant wait for more news. Keep up the great work!
gussi111
I LOVE the new VAB

N9 Gaming
I think this practically guarentees procedural solar panels! And very likely procedural structural pieces as well. I can't help but think procedural fuel tanks are easily a possibility too
Deadmeat24
Finally. Radiators that can be functional AND stylish.
TheOrbitalMechanic
Super cool to see, everything's looking really nice! (Also, is that a new track I hear in the background?)
prestja
Those procedural radiators are looking (puts on glasses) pretty cool
Hyperspace Industries
Gorgeous!!!!!!! Also, when I saw that V-shaped radiator I squealed with glee! I am definitely making a book accurate discovery replica! Also, this will make that practically every reasonable ship (given this is kerbal, I doubt well have too many of those) has only a max of 4 radiators, no matter its size! High part counts no more! Edit: I just noticed that the first part was done by Chris Adderley, aka: Nertea!!!!!!!! Nate Simpson
1 hour ago, siklidkid said: Will Solar Panels be procedural too? Seeing this question pop up in a few places. We don't currently have specific plans to add procedural solar panels for release, as solar gameplay wasn't blocked by the absence of a large-scale solution in the way that radiator gameplay was. As you get deeper into the progression, you've got a number of other power generation solutions that don't rely on sunlight (since many of the problems you're solving involve either being very far from a star or being in a situation in which solar intermittency is an obstacle). I'd love to hear the applications you see for big, interestingly-shaped solar panels. 1 hour ago, TheOrbitalMechanic said: (Also, is that a new track I hear in the background?) Admiral Fluffy
Just now, Nate Simpson said: I'd love to hear the applications you see for big, interestingly-shaped solar panels. How else am I going to power my tiny ship with a disproportionately large engine? Or my interstellar ion ship? Say I don't like radiation hazards. How else would I power my ship? oh wait fuel cells are a thing

Guest
holy crud! @Nertea and company did that! it's looking really, really cool guys! keep up the good work! Edited March 25, 2022 by Guest
Violet
Really cool to see more procedural parts, i hope this can maybe lay the groundwork for other procedural truss based parts too!

AlphaMensae
Even before watching that video, I just knew this was Nertea's dream idea for KSP.
shdwlrd
Yay!!! No more spamming radiators to deal with high heat parts. Also making radiators look stylish is a great bonus.
CoreI
Those look super nice! I wonder if the addition of procedural radiators means we might get some procedural heat shielding for spaceplanes...
