IG web site is still up, still KSP2-centric, and is morbidly funny

Well the layoffs aren't fully in effect for another month. There's at least one person still working because the dev branches on Steam are still being updated daily.

The question is what happens after June 28.

Yikes. You'd think there'd be someone in the corporate structure whose job it is to clean that kind of stuff up

Maybe that someone's password to make edits was already taken away out of concern that a disgruntled employee would sabotage things. The recent Shadowzone video showed secrecy and lack of trust during KSP2 development. That would likely get worse during layoffs.

It's common for a company to announce future layoffs to staff with variations of "we're paying you for the next X weeks but your work is done today; everyone's computer access has already been revoked".

That's why I keep a backup of my important personnel files. This includes "annual" reviews (we're so inconsistent with reviews that I have more raises than reviews; formal reviews only happen for large raises or to set someone up for firing), employment contracts, financial disclosures, etc.

- we are a team... no you're not, you're about to get laid off and already looking for another job

- we ship great games for our players.. you mean the buggy mess you didn't finish?

- we are true to our word... what word? I hear a deafening silence. or did you mean the promise you made to finish the game?

- we are improving every day... I'm not seeing any progress and you'll get laid off any day now

give me back my money

Also, if you try to open their job openings, take2's website gives a 404 not found, but the UI can't handle it (another bug xD)

I don't know, all of these things listed seems to be the fault of Take-Two and not of the developers... :P

It's especially sad because if you have to say those things it usually means you haven't done any of them, so you have to convince people by telling them. That's why people use the phrase "Those who do, do. Those who can't, talk."

I thought the saying was "Those who can, do.  Those who can't, teach.".

Also to clean up the Steam page... still showing the full roadmap and write-up like "Major updates coming during Early Access: Get a front-row seat as major new systems come online, including the addition of new star systems, interstellar travel technologies, colonies , multiplayer, and more ." (punctuation-spacing is as shown on Steam)

Now that is taking the wee-wee.  Should say:

'KSP2 is in a parking orbit and, the last crew member is about to leave (Bob, please turn off the lights).  It'll sit there.  If we forget to boost it now and then, it'll de-orbit on it's own.  Hopefully it'll miss major population centres, but meh... not our problem.  No littering fines will be paid.'
