I just got the Deep freeze mod and I am liking it.

 

Here is my first Cryogenic rocket, sadly i could not take a picture of the Kerbal inside being frozen

Originally the plan was for the rocket to disintegrate upon reentry to see the effects Cryogenics would have on Kerbals in that type of event.

Yet it somehow survived completely intact on medium difficulty. 

It produced a nice explosion on impact but due to lag I could not take pictures of that, as for the Kerbal inside he died but don't worry he was a Death Row inmate proven guilty for a crime so horrible that I might get banned here for saying it.

The first time in over a year I did a Mun mission with a entirely scratch built rocket, I don't have pictures of the launch stage cause I did not know how many attempts it would take.and it took me 2 hours to build it and sorry for the messy sides I was tired and afraid the game would crash if I went window mode and fullscreen again.

The Front side after launch, I used the FASA Big G Gemini Rescue pod cause it has more fuel than the regular Big G and it can carry both the Command Module and Lunar Module crew. 

The rear view with the LM, thank the FASA pack for having the Apollo LM coupler with the high top node.

The crew's lunch which is a nice homage to Gemini 3.

There are no photos of the Launch from the Mun, Rendezvous, LM Deorbit and the Lunar Escape.

CM encountering Kerbin. 

After a 100m orbit around Kerbin the CM descended and and detached from the main rocket, here is the reentry. 

Chute deployed successfully, not bad for an old Soviet surplus,  

I was expecting to do a traditional splashdown but the Gemini ended up landing near the Beach which hey it is safer than being on water and it's a beautiful day.

My first interplanetary rocket, sadly it only had enough fuel and thrust to get there and not back so I am limited to probes and boilerplates.

I decided to send a unmanned Mercury boilerplate to Moho ala Luna II.

 

Something about crashing things like Probes, Landers and boilerplates always makes it fun.

I sent a probe to Duna, I know there are more practical probes than the Stayputnik but I've been dying to use it other than a Sputnik style mission.

I sent some equipment like a Thermometer, Geiger counter and others.

Also had enough fuel to go to Ike.

Once all the data was collected, the probe was deorbited to Duna's surface.

I did it!

I've done a manned mission to Duna, just orbit and EVAs but still a manned mission to Duna and back without cheats. Again same with the Mun mission I did not want to minimize the window to erase the Steam background glitch just in case of a crash.

No pictures of the Cryogen or manuevering.

And Finally Bill.

After a few EVAs and data collecting the crew got back in abd orbitred for 2 Kerbin days, sadly due to only enough Monopropellant to get back to Kerbin there was no orbit or EVA around Ike.

However on the way out I did encounter Ike for a slingshot.

After another long time in a cryogen coma we encountered Kerbin.

Seperate with enough fuel and Monopropellant to reenter safely.

Two Reentry shots sadly is was too dark for a parachute and splashdown pic.

Total Mission time about 3 years, 25 days Game time, 4 hours real time.

Now to build a lander, do some test on Kerbin, Mun and Minmus, then a unmanned landing and then hopefully a manned landing.

Today I landed on Mars ( RSS/RO) for the first time.The payload was MEL (Mars Explorative Lander , 9 tons).Its mission objective is taking data on the composition of the Martian atmosphere and the radiation levels , plus some photos of the landing zone for future unmanned/manned landings.
