  1. Necropost from 6 years ago, are you kidding me?
  2. Oh my god everyone, I'm so sorry about the textures released yesterday! The archives uploaded to GitHub weren't the correct set, I must've not been fully conscious when uploading the update. I've fixed the downloads, please remove the "BoulderCo" folder from your GameData and install the correct set of textures! https://github.com/themaster402/AstronomersVisualPack/releases/tag/v1.6
  3. v3.63 "Godspeed" im sorry when i saw comic sans was a font choice i had to "Updated and Repackaged" moniker has officially been dropped. Safe to say we've departed far enough from 2014 AVP to do so. Lightning has been softened, less crisp, after months of request. Laythe clouds texture changed slightly. Volumetric clouds tweaked on most relevant bodies. Duna duststorms tweaked. KS3P (post processing effects that integrate into KSP as a mod) is now recommended for the best experience!
  4. Trivia time with themaster401! That duplicate cloud layer was actually intentional by Astronomer. Meant to create the illusion of the clouds casting shadows, giving that trademark look. Of course now, we can make clouds layers directly cast shadows... ...and that's just what those shadows cast on the ground are. Intentional cloud shadow effect. Not a bug. Shouldn't look too exaggerated from orbit, in map view or such.
  5. I'm guessing you're referring to OPMclouds. That's quite the old cloud pack for OPM, it does not function with the latest KSPRC as it was built for an older version. Try OPM-VO instead.
  6. He was around during summer... perhaps we won't know what he was working on for a while, but at least the 1.1.2 version ofKSPRC functions in 1.3 provided you download the latest versions of the dependencies.
  7. IMO this performs worse but looks more crisp and properly rough than SVT's terrain. In comparison to SVE and its EVE effects, however, SVE is a definite winner. It will work with 1.3 provided that you download the latest versions of all the dependencies.
  8. All of you experiencing the depressingly dark Kerbin bug, it is a result of (theoretically) SVT stopping Kopernicus' default curves for how intense the Sun's light should be depending on distance from it. Solution = downgrade to Kopernicus 1.3.1-2 for now.
  9. INSERT REALLY LARGE FONT TEXT STATING HOW EXCITED I AM FOR THE RETURN OF EVE EFFECTS HERE ... all jokes aside, excited for the return of visuals. It's gonna look great, good job
  10. Come on Sam, you didn't even give a minute for Rover to reply then tagged yourself. @StarCrusher96
  11. See, if we were able to update this to 1.3 we already would have done it. Unfortunately, the plugin that drives the black hole is nonfunctional in 1.3 (despite its source code being available and literally fitting on my screen... it cannot be that difficult to recompile and fix, can it?) and the developer is likely long gone. This, coupled with the fact that the mod's visual effects are plagued by the license-violating workings of a user that will remain anonymous, makes it quite likely this mod will not be updated for some time unless someone apart from the developer takes a shot.
  12. Since Imgur albums decided to commit the non-existence, here are some unedited pics from the latest version ft. a stock lander I may or may not have cheated into various orbits.
  13. This thread is dead. The author hasn't been active in 3 months, and it has been a lot longer since he last interacted with this mod. I guess it calls for a thread lock unless discussion on picking up the mod occurs.
  14. Stop. Spamming. Forum. Threads. With. Compatibility. Inquiries. Use your common sense. If the title says 1.3.0, it is almost 100% likely to be compatible with 1.3.1. If it says 1.2.2, it is most likely not to be compatible with 1.3.x. Period.
  15. Man, wouldn't it be just absolutely mindblowing if that question happened to be answered already?
  16. That SWDennis video utilized the original Astronomer's Visual Pack: Interstellar v2. https://kerbal.curseforge.com/projects/astronomers-visual-pack-beyond-kerbal/files/2221625/download Download that and the KerbalVisualEnhancements plugin. https://github.com/RangeMachine/KerbalVisualEnhancements/releases/download/v2.0.0/Plugin.zip Install the optional "wormhole sun" from AVP, and you'll have your wormhole in close orbit to the sun. There is also the Kargantua mod which adds analogues of the Interstellar planets to the game, but it has not been updated in a while and is quite buggy. https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/157255-122-kargantua-system-v02a-the-first-proper-black-hole-system-in-ksp/
  17. (Necropost, please read the comments on the last pages before posting a new one.) It's been about two months since the developer has checked the forums, and even longer since he last interacted with this thread. Your best bet is to manually rename the black hole and change the parent body parameter to the new name in every config.
  18. v3.62 "Godspeed" A lot of realism fixes that should've been addressed a long while ago. Color changes. Detail fixes. Lightning fixes (yay!) Eve's atmosphere changed significantly. https://github.com/themaster402/AstronomersVisualPack/releases/tag/v3.62
  19. Hurrah! Been waiting for an update for this Cheers!
  20. Because of its insane delta-v but limited life support, I'd guess that it's just to ferry kerbals from Kerbin to LKO or Kerbin to Kerbin, perhaps even short hops to other bodies in the Kerbin system.
  21. Jeez man. Most of your forum activity has been nagging mod devs. Give the author the space he needs, respect that he doesn't have time to update his mod.
  22. Ever made contact with the EVE GUI in the Tracking Station? It ain't infected with Xenomorph chemical.
  23. Because of Andromeda's continual license violation, I'd recommend Stock Visual Enhancements, or (shameless plug) my own Astronomer's Visual Pack Repackaged, which Andromeda Visuals was identical to at one point.
  24. That Eve utilised 12 or something cloud layers, and lacked a scatterer configuration, as the clouds' natural glow compensated for it. I have tried replicating this to little avail.
