  1. OK, I'll give that a try. The problem occurs after I've been playing awhile. It may occur while changing scenes. I'm not certain.
  2. Aye, no worries, mate. KSP-AVC does the job as is. These are all one-offs I've been finding, not show-stoppers. Those other 129 mods you're updating can wait, right? LOL Sidebar: added you to my Follow Member list. I use many of your mods, so if you've something to say, I want to know...NOW!
  3. Wow. That was quick. EDIT: A bit odd display for Mk-1-Cabin-Hatch, given the .version file: { "NAME":"Mk1-Cabin-Hatch", "URL":"https://raw.githubusercontent.com/skalou/Mk1-Cabin-Hatch/master/Mk1-Cabin-Hatch__KSP-AVC", "VERSION": { "MAJOR":0, "MINOR":2, "PATCH":0, "BUILD":0 }, "KSP_VERSION": { "MAJOR":1, "MINOR":2, "PATCH":1 } }
  4. The bug just happened again. All lists are cleared and the main list expanded. Here's output.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0tysqiom56wy6pb/output_log2.zip?dl=0
  5. @linuxgurugamer Thanks for the response and the update. However, here is a.version file that was NOT flagged by KSP-AVC, and I believe it should have been: { "NAME": "Camera Focus Changer", "DOWNLOAD": "https://github.com/zentarul/camerafocuschanger/releases", "URL": "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/zentarul/camerafocuschanger/master/GameData/CameraFocusChanger/CFC.version", "GITHUB": { "USERNAME": "zentarul", "REPOSITORY": "camerafocuschanger" }, "VERSION": { "MAJOR": 1, "MINOR": 0, "PATCH": 1, "BUILD": 0 }, "KSP_VERSION_MIN": { "MAJOR": 1, "MINOR": 2, "PATCH": 0 }, "KSP_VERSION_MAX": { "MAJOR": 1, "MINOR": 2, "PATCH": 99 } }
  6. I'm doing nothing unusual in MCE. I don't even have any MCE contracts; none have been offered since I reinstalled it.
  7. Here's a link to the output.log dropbox file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ajutw7qy2xcmby/output_log.zip?dl=0 It appears to pause about every 9-10 seconds now. So, that may no longer be related to MC2. Since ridding myself of the extraneous display, performance has improved all round. I'll start using MC2 again to see if I encounter errors. Thanks for your work on this mod. One of my favorites. Been using it ever since you first created the first MC.
  8. KSP-AVC is flagging some mods as supported by past versions of KSP. However, the "KSP_VERSION_MIN" is less than KSP 1.4.1. Therefore, KSP-AVC should not flag it. Or, is that the correct design/action ? For instance, Fuel Tanks Plus is flagged. The .version file is: { "NAME": "Fuel Tanks Plus", "URL": "http://ksp.necrobones.com/files/FuelTanksPlus/FuelTanksPlus.version", "DOWNLOAD": "http://spacedock.info/mod/92/Fuel%20Tanks%20Plus", "VERSION": { "MAJOR": 2, "MINOR": 0, "PATCH": 2 }, "KSP_VERSION_MIN": { "MAJOR": 1, "MINOR": 4, "PATCH": 0 } }
  9. @sordidPhoenix I'm using the latest version of MJ and no longer having the problem I discussed.
  10. Thanks for the reply. Which output files do you need? I'm happy to help. I'll resinstall MC2 and turn-off the info display. I'm using the KSP-AVC-1.1.6.2 in 1.4.1. It works well. EDIT I did not see "advanced-missioncontroller" in the settings menu. I did see "advanced flight information" or something similar. I disabled it, and the info is gone. Not gone, however, was the the pause I discussed.
  11. There is another more serious problem as well. MC2 causes my game to pause every 2-3 seconds for about 1 half second. Especially noticeable in flight. When I removed MC2, the problem went away. Perhaps I have a mod conflict; I have no other contract mods.
  12. linuxgurugamer, I appreciate the update for 1.4.1. I've been using the 1.3.1 version without issue. I especially appreciate all the mods you provide or have taken over from the dearly departed mod authors. Your modding skills greatly enhance the KSP experience. Ignore the naysayers. Something tells me that every time KSP is updated, you then look at your 130 mods, and silently say, "Oh sh-t...not again" LOL
  13. Thank you for updating HyperEdit for 1.4.1. As in the past, I use it extensively for testing purposes. That is, before launching the real mission with a new configuration (for instance to land on a planet or moon), I use HyperEdit to put the vehicle in orbit above that body. I then verify that my systems can land the vehicle safely and determine what adjustments I need to tweak. I then launch the real mission. Otherwise, it would be sorely frustrating to arrive at a planet only to discover I can't land. I am using the BETA.
  14. When I attempt to calibrate an experiment, I get a message saying "Experiment error: check log files." What specifically should I look for??
  15. How do I get rid of this unwanted, extraneous information? I don't see an in-game setting. Is there one in persistent.sfs? If there isn't method, please add a button or a persistent.sfs setting to do so. MechJeb provides this info to me. Don't need this cluttering my screen. I think there may be another more severe problem as well. I'm continuing to research that one. SIDEBAR: the KSP-AVC link you have in the OP is dead. (the one that reads "please download the Plugin.")
  16. And, the offending mod is...Mission Controller 2. I did another method of eliminating and adding mods individually (having done several before the OP), and I located Mission Controller 2 as the culprit. Moderators: feel free free to close this thread. We're done here.
  17. EDIT: I found the culprit: Mission Controller 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have 63 mods installed. Somewhere, somehow, I clicked a setting that displays this info in the Flight window. I want to remove it. I believe it may be the cause of another problem as well. This is in my current career game. When I start a new game (career or sandbox), this is not displayed. So, there is a setting in my current game's persistent.sfs that is causing this to display. I've looked through the settings for all my mods ingame and have found nothing that helps. I've tried starting with a clean GameData folder: Squad, Squad Expansions. And added mods in a few at a time into a new game. This display does not happen. So, do you recognize this from one of the mods you use? Thank you.
  18. I just discovered the offending mod that causes the problem I describe: Quick Goto Specifically, when I mouse over the Quick Goto icon in the VAB/SC/TS/whatever, the upper-right buttons are disabled. When I don't click any of the icons on the Quick Goto popup, those buttons remain disabled. If your program is executing commands to disable those upper-right buttons, would it be possible to remove them.
  19. Thank you for the quick responses. I also added MDB files and the KSP directory to the Exceptions. Still, no joy. So, I just removed the MDB files from the archive files.
  20. there are two MDB files in the ZIP file. Windows is preventing me from unarchiving them. In fact, the stupid POS is blocking all files after the MDB files. I've tried turning off Defender as well as going into the Control Panel. Still blocked. Win 10 considers MDB files to be Windows database files. 1) are the MDB files necessary? 2) How can I get Win 10 and/or Defender to allow me to unarchive them? I flipping HATE Windows when it tries to protect me. Any help, links to websites, etc., would be appreciated. I've been able to unarchive the other file in the ZIP by dragging them to a folder. I never had this problem before.
  21. will this be recompiled for 1.4.2? I'm using the current version, and it works well in 1.4.2.
  22. I'll get some log files. This has happened o me in every version of Contracts Window +. Quite often, the main contracts window will reset as well. I will have collapse each as I added them to a list. Then, suddenly, they all expand again.
