  1. Greeting! Is it possible to change or disable the keybinding? O is used by Collide-O-Scope as well, and it activates both mods when pressed.
  2. Greetings! It looks like the title in CKAN and SpaceDock has /L added to the the of it now. Is this intended? I'm curious if something's going on with netkan
  3. I did a new performance test, this time with the same visual mods but with stock instead of Parallax or Planetshine. Stock results also added to the post above. Stock: ~84-89fps Parallax: ~86-90fps PlanetShine: ~81-86fps Parallax + PlanetShine: ~80-83fps All in all the results are close. Real close. In fact there's no real discernable FPS difference between stock and parallax; they both spike to about as high, and as low as each other. PlanetShine seems to have an impact of around -4fps, and Planetshine + Parallax is about -10fps? Again though these readings are VERY subjective. Literally just one reading, exactly 6:30 into flight. Still I'd call that pretty dang good.
  4. I realize now that I should have done a stock comparison too, to judge how much baseline performance impact both mods have. Hard to judge how well/poorly optimized either one is without knowing
  5. I'm glad a reinstall worked! Yeah... That's really odd, bit I'm happy that it's fixed now. I do the same too with baking up my saves in other places
  6. I did a second test, this time on Vall: Stock: ~84-89fps Parallax: ~86-90fps PlanetShine: ~81-86fps Parallax + PlanetShine: ~80-83fps Stock: ~84-89fps Parallax: ~86-90fps PlanetShine: ~81-86fps Parallax + PlanetShine: ~80-83fps Still pretty negligible. And it seems that Parallax runs better than PlanetShine? Again these tests are taken by a very basic set of statistics; rebooting the game with each variation, waiting until the timer is the same, take reading. It's worth noting too that the Vall-henge monolith is underground with Parallax; it seems to mess with the terrain height
  7. Oh gotcha! I was confused since your name isn't in the header I'm also on mobile, so I can't see if your forum status or signature has any markings either. I wish you luck with TUFX! It's a gorgeous mod—I was using ReShade before, but a mod which does this is much more convenient — the only thing I dislike with TUFX is the inability to hide the toolbar. While Adjustable Toolbar usually fixes that for me, as we know TUFX is strangely stubborn.
  8. Oh, interesting! I might revisit and peek a bit after it drops Another note too; if you can make SRBWE run without TUFX and make RealPlume only recommended for better smoke instead of required, I'll probably include it in the suggested mods for Spectra
  9. An update to what? Apologies but I don't know what mod you're referring to updating
  10. :O a config where? I'd love access to this if possible
  11. Alas TUFX is rather stubborn, and it's one of the few mods Adjustable Mod Panel (KAMP) can't hide. It's a known enough issue that there's a comment about in the op Edit: I might give Janitor's Closet a try, as it seems to have a hide toolbar icon function as well
  12. Can you describe your issues? I'm having trouble parsing what's wrong from your images. It looks like the plumes are working fine? You're firing SRB stage separators while on the pad, no?
  13. This mod has a number of issues with it, like requiring RealPlume and TUFX. It creates duplicate plumes for all SRBs which overlap with each other I posted about it on SRBWE's last page
  14. I did a quick FPS comparison test between Parallax and PlanetShine with my full mod suite to compare the FPS hit between them both, and with them combined. All readings taken straight from bootup with QuickStart from the same location on Duna exactly 3 minutes into flight. PC Specs: GeForce RTX 3070 Ti AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 32GB DDR4 3200 CL16-18-18-38 Parallax: ~99-106fps PlanetShine: ~108fps Parallax + PlanetShine: ~103-108fps Parallax: ~99-106fps PlanetShine: ~108fps Parallax + PlanetShine: ~103-108fps Curiously, Parallax + PlanetShine seems even faster than just Parallax? Strange. Either way, the FPS hit seems negligible for me—this could be due to having such a powerful machine though. Also worth noting that when I removed Parallax, it lowered the terrain height by about 70m and I had to manually fly the craft down to the surface again.
  15. Greetings! I'm curious why SRBWE requires TUFX and RealPlume? For TUFX dependence I read your "I don't know why it just is" comment in the OP and I'm curious—is it a technical issue that SRBWE does not function correctly without TUFX, or is it preference that you simply want all SRBWE users to also use TUFX? It's a gorgeous mod I'll admit, but it has no option to disable the toolbar icon, and ignores Adjustable Mod Panel, so I've been avoiding it in the meantime to keep my toolbar clean. As for RealPlume, I very much avoid installing separate mods that add the same thing to the game as it causes them both to run in parallel, often adding duplicate overlapping effects, creating extra lag, complexity, and more chances for Nullref errors. If at all possible I'd like to avoid running both Waterfall and RealPlume for these reasons EDIT: Mod appears to run fine w/out TUFX: And you can indeed see that both the default Stock/RealPlume plume, and the Waterfall plume is being drawn on the booster at the same time (laggy): Image on the right is with the camera clipped through the waterfall FX so you can see the volumetric RealPlume effect being drawn too If it helps, I could update your NetKAN file? Maybe move these both from depends: to recommends:, that way they aren't strictly required to install, but are enabled by default—that way users that don't want to use them can choose to not.
  16. Boris I just wanted to say thank you for creating such a wonderful mod. I use this consistently on reentry for my orbiters, as while the can fly stock, your mod makes the experience far more enjoyable and safe. Props to the greatest Fly-by-wire in KSP
  17. Sadly, I can't bug test for this because I have no way of reproducing it Could you do a test for me? Make a clean KSP install (backing up your current steam directory somewhere else and then deleting it in steam to let it redownload is the easiest), then on that fresh save, *only* install Spectra + Scatterer and see if it still occurs Edit: When installing via CKAN, you should only have to tick Spectra before you click the install button; as it installs, Scatterer will appear in the Recommended step already checked, that way you don't accidentally install the wrong version
  18. Hm, this has me wondering now which creates less lag by itself—PlanetShine, or Parallax...
  19. @Krazy1 I can't seem to replicate this, it looks perfectly normal in my safe https://i.imgur.com/NBqgYQw.mp4 I tested with both the default configs, and with the vibrant sunsets addon. Questions for you: Are you installing manually, or via CKAN? What OS are you using? What other mods are you running?
