A bunch of terrorists steal military documents, then infiltrate and later destroy a military installation to prevent an attack on their base.

Star Wars: A New Hope.

Okay, since exactly one person got one of my initial ones right, I added all the answers in white text. Also, here's some more:

- Two of the most underqualified people on Earth are tasked with performing a high-tech stealth operation to prevent a nuclear war

- New method kills 50% of bacteria!

- Teenage girl volunteers to join a reality TV show, hilarity ensures

- A warrior loses his most prized possession and has to fight one of his own friends because he has an awful family

- An interracial relationship saves the world from a bunch of people who are dropping rocks everywhere

- Siri almost ruins an expedition to find a big USB stick

- Illegal immigrants kill thousands of people in a fistfight

- Stockholm syndrome... in space!

A war veteran tries to win the heart of the spunky girl next door.  When she is kidnapped, he leads a group of courageous volunteers on an ill-fated mission to rescue her. Unbeknownst to him, despite several violent episodes and one near death experience, she has begun to involuntarily relate to and develop feelings for her captor as a survival mechanism.

The combination of his unrecognized and untreated PTSD and her obvious Stockholm Syndrome ultimately prove to be his undoing.  While his barely-contained rage causes him to make some poor choices, in the end he sacrifices himself to save her, delivering what should have been a fatal wound to her captor with a well-aimed shot as he falls to his death.

In the end, his sacrifice is for naught as she marries her captor (who makes a full recovery) and remains his prisoner for the rest of her life.  Everyone celebrates this as though it’s a happy ending, and the dead war hero is ultimately forgotten, abandoned in death by his comrades and the woman he gave his life trying to rescue.

Some tale in which a princess saves the wounded prince who had stolen her from an antagonist warrior chasing them with his gang.

A government employee absconds with classified information and destroys a new weapon.

SW: A New Hope.
That unshown imperial officer who sold the Death Star blueprints to the rebels.
Sounds strange, but he is the key character of SW. Not jedis, not Yoda, not Vader, not  o.b. "One can o.b.!"
Without the blueprints, no Force tricks would help rebels to destroy it, so the rebel saga would end right after it had started. Together with jedis.
So, SW is a hymn for human greed.
