  1. @pTrevTrevs made a really nice Das Boot if you haven't seen it yet see it here Das Boot
  2. Mods or No Mods that Red vulture is sweet! Also thanks for the links this helps
  3. The Squirt has plenty of hidden weight inside the hull, and I haven't downloaded the Shipyard Mod yet but plan to do so in the future.
  4. Incredible design! Makes me want to take on the challenge of making one!
  5. Thank you for the tip WhiteKnuckle, I didn't know this, although it was designed to travel Kerbin's Oceans without a need for fuel support from another craft. Also the drill on the nose cone is giving it the ability to drill on steep coastlines. Another thing about this is traveling from the runway to the beach would stress the hull a bit and may take longer to get to the water rather than loading up at the beach with Ore.
  6. I just built my second Submarine and it is one of those easier said than done craft. I would say it's like building your first craft to go to Duna, Laythe or Eve, It won't work on your first few attempts. My Submarines look simple but a lot of hours and testing went into them. See them here "Squirt" & "Scuba Do" to get some ideas.
  7. Nice fleet! Are any mods being used other than the paint? Also can you add more pictures in an album, mainly I would like to see more details of your RedVulture Cargo Craft, the cockpit looks very unique and has my interest, is this a Modded Cockpit and a TweakScale Hull design? Regardless these are nice looking craft designs.
  8. Thanks for the like on my Submarine!

    1. Columbia

      Columbia

No problem, you deserve it! :)

  9. Thank you for the like on my Scuba Do Sub!

  10. Sector 7 Space Laboratories Deep Sea Exploration Division - Scuba Do Craft - Scuba Do KSP v1.0.5 After experiencing my first Submarine called "Squirt" it gave me a desire to build another. I believe if you follow the coastline for Ore to refuel exploring Kerbin's Oceans could be done as much as you would like. Craft Assembly: Probodobodyne OKTO2, MK7 Rocket Nose Cone, Vernor Engines, FL-T200 Fuel Tanks, Radial Intakes,Drills, Convert-O-Trons, Fly-by-Wire Avionics Hub, Standard Canards, Advanced Canards, MK1 Lander Cans, Large Reaction Wheel, Whiplash Engines, Batteries, Rockomax Brand Adapter, Medium Size Landing Gear, Lights Operations: At the Hangar be sure Kerbals DO NOT ENTER, the Kerman's love this Submarine and they can go along for the ride if you like but be sure to control the Sub from the OKTO2. When arriving the runway engage the RCS and SAS, hit spacebar and give a little throttle only to reach low speeds 6 to 8 m/s until course is set for the water. Land speeds are ok up to 40-50 m/s running straight but not sure what Top Speeds can be reached. Just before entering the water come to a complete stop and lock the brakes. Press action group 1 for the drills and panels to extend. Press action group 2 after the drills have had enough time to extend completely other wise the drills will not began to Harvest. After time warping to fill the Ore Tanks retract the drills and panels by pressing action group 1. If necessary panels can be toggled alone with action group 10. **** SPECIAL NOTICE: You must Jettison Only the Fourth Ore Tank to began underwater maneuvers.**** This can be done at anytime, I traveled the Ocean floor to a Depth of 545 Meters, you might like to do this then Jettison the Ore Tank, do this step whenever you like. Engineer's Report Parts - 75 Mass - 37.7t Height - 5.9m Width - 7.1m Lenght - 18.1m Craft File Scuba Do
  11. Really nice build, I like the creative idea about building this! really cool and nice details
  12. Your some success looks like total success to me! Just because it moves slowly and not carrying a body or a load of some kind shouldn't determine if the tracks are working or not. Nicely done and good job Redshift OTF!
  13. I agree no such thing as cheating, only building in extreme is what I would call it. On the other hand the only cheating I could see being done would be during a Challenge and getting away with it which I would consider very childish!
  14. Sector 7 Space Laboratories - VTOL Division - Crosshair This VTOL Craft has lots of flight time and the handling is great but if you plan to do some EVA's download Crosshair II. Most of the photos are showing Crosshair II Craft Assembly: Juno Engines, Wheesley Engines, Dart Engine, Inline Stabilizers, Ramp Air Intakes, Canards, Lights, Mk1 Cockpit, Fuel Cell Arrays, FL-T400 & T800 Fuel Tanks, Vernor Engines Flight Operations: Engage RCS and SAS, throttle up to full then press spacebar, if you would like to jump up quickly use the K Key, this is the downward thrust which is also used for landings. Hold the K Key until you gain some height then press spacebar a second time to engage the rear engines. After reaching about 70m/s press the number 1 action key to kill the lift engines and press number 2 action key to kill the Dart Engine unless you want the speed and not concerned about fuel consumption. Engineer's Report: Parts - 142 Mass - 30.6t Height - 4.9m Width - 10.2m Lenght - 8.4m Controls: 1- Juno Lift Engines 2- Dart Engine (Center Rear Engine) 3- Rear Wheesley Engines Craft Files: Crosshair Crosshair II
  15. I did notice mods being used, not sure how many, much more impressive when only stock parts are used.
  16. Not only are these Video's packed with action but they have some of the best craft designs I've ever seen in KSP. This is the first I've ever heard of this guy SWDennis and it seems they've had a lot of chatting on the KSP forums about him and his talents. Did I say these craft designs are amazing? Hats off to SWDennis you have some incredible work.
  17. Both have a good point. I think as long as SCF's is presenting game play possibilities and space travel all is good but in this post there could have been more space travel to keep the focus on promoting what the game will be released for (Space).
  18. I like the larger cockpit idea on the Hornet, and overall these are some nice craft builds
  19. Please don't forget that I released the ironclads the other day, the thread didn't get many replies, but it's there. LOL
  20. The Corsair has always been a favorite of mind, it's unique bent wings are the coolness of this craft. The P51 Mustang is another favorite, I've started working on it the other day and plan to release it on here in the future. Really nice craft build!
  21. A few people are using IMGUR, after uploading them you will see the links to use, post them on this forum using the black square with the Letter I on the right end of the display window, you will see it when you reply on here.
  22. Congratulations on the progress so far MJ it is definitely impressive work. Also I have never ventured off to other forums such as Reddit because it's enough to post and reply on the KSP Forums already, I do this for enjoyment and don't want it to become work. KSP is my relaxing playground to hang out and have fun while learning from others. I'm guessing there is some good feed back coming from Reddit but I am ok with staying just on here. Again really nice tracks!
