  1. This will end well. You were doing ok until the end, where you blew it. For all the talk of "doing the right thing" you missed the mark pretty bad. This likely could have been addressed very easily (and been fixed) with a simple github issue in the appropriate repositories, vs pestering in multiple threads with multiple posts. As Roverdude has asked many times, if you want an issue to not get lost, make a github issue. If you want it to get lost by all means post it in one of the 12+ threads where it is likely to be forgotten.
  2. Modulemanager has extensive documentation. You can start by looking at some of the existing MM cfg files in pretty much any mod to get an idea. Honestly what I did to learn this .cfg file stuff was to first make a copy of an existing part. So copy the part CFG file to a new file. change the part inside the file to like "container Tac Edition". Then in game you will ahve 2 parts, the original and your new one. Then you can play around with the cfg, testing in game until you get it right, without mucking up the original part. Then you can change that part cfg into a modulemanager config file which will adjust the original part. Roverdude has been pretty clear that he has no interest in supporting supply configs for TAC-LS in any of his mods. Don't blame him as he is busy enough and it is harder when its a mod you no longer use. I'm kind of surprised honestly that a USI and TAC-LS fan hasn't come up with a MM config pack to add TAC-LS supply support to all of the relevant USI mods.
  3. Can I copy this and add to my "twitch and general support" library of quick quotes?
  4. Most of the "have a station" "have a base" contracts specify like an antenna, docking port and power supply. Pretty sure those are stock contracts.
  5. The Scout pod of MKS-L already functions as an EPL survey station (the most common way people build ships on other planets/bodies). For orbital construction I would recommend just using the EPL orbital parts, since you have to install EPL anyhow and MKS-L doesn't have the OKS parts so matching the look/feel is moot.
  6. Not according to your screenshots. Or you installed it wrong or added it after those screenshots were taken.
  7. i believe you need KAS as well as KIS. The flexotubes are just larger KAS pipes.
  8. Just go back to your blender and photoshop and visual studio. we got this...
  9. I see 2 problems. First you only need/want the latest modulemanager dll. delete the rest. And you have a firespitter.dll in the root of your gamedata folder. There should only be one, and will be in the firespitter folder. I'm not sure how you got that there but if it was manually put there I would be very mindful of anything else that was manually copied somewhere other than its default folder. Modders put their stuff in a folder structure for a reason and it breaks if you move it around. Also I don't know if it would matter but I would copy MKS-L last, as it would likely have the most up to date other folders like USITOOLS etc. [edit] partially ninja'd. I didnt see the extra FTT folder (good catch). Don't go moving stuff around.
  10. Picture of your gamedata and umbraspaceindustries folders please.
  11. I guess they would work, but you don't want to actually "move" anything.
  12. No they are separate mods. But pretty much every part in MKS-L has an analog to it in MKS.
  13. Neither am I. But my point in bringing it up is to not get stuck on just one aspect. Personally I'd love to see you release a cool part, even if it isn't "transformers" perfect. It still helps further my kerbals' story. Just think if Roverdude never released anything until his modeling skills reached his current level. How much less fun we would have had without MKS for the last 18 months...
  14. You didn't just seriously reference Michael Bay? So maybe he was nitpicky about the parts of a transformer. If only he could have had the same attention to detail concerning oh I dunno, the story...
  15. I'd say a throwback to the VW bus would be cool. Not as fancy as an expanding ILM. Just a hinged roof basically.
  16. If you want to go fun, I'd say one option is an alternate emergency Hab. Like a pop up tent. it's a perfect spot for one.
  17. Very cool. By the way it looks like you have MKS or MKS-L. You can use the MK-V Comm Lab for a small science lab and save a ton of size/weight over the stock lab.
  18. Any feedback is fine. If you find an actual issue that you don't want to get missed log a github. Usually if I am unsure I post about it here. If I'm pretty sure its a bug I check github to see if an issue already exists and if not log a new one. Anything that helps keep Roverdude organized helps us all.
