  1. Hopefully it will retain its ability to be KIS assembled in the field. It is my favorite aspect of the packrat for use as a small lightweight utility rover that can be packed up. I do like the open air feel for this.
  2. That sound neat in theory. My only concern would be seating. From a gameplay/lore standpoint since the pilot has to stay in the seat, you would have a kerbal sitting in an exposed command seat indefinitely. There was also a potential issue with USI-LS and command seats. I'm not sure if it has been addressed yet but I believe if memory serves there is an issue with command seats and life support.
  3. I'd say most of the parts that can really use an IVA have a nice one. For many of the parts I honestly don't see the point. For example the MKIII parts don't even have usable windows that you would utilize for anything. They aren't really designed to be "flown" similar to the stock hitchhiker can. So I don't see the point in the time it would take to make or the memory hit for them to have a custom IVA. I mean if it served a useful purpose maybe. But again like the hitchhiker can, it looks cute a couple times to see the kerbals sitting in their chairs, but otherwise they can't really "do" anything inside these parts. Now pods yes. I have landed a MK V scout pod via IVA and that was fun. The Karibou IVA is great and fun to drive.
  4. IIRC Kerbals will eventually raid the supplies (and throw out of the airlock) if you lose EC, which will show up on the display.
  5. Well I said that because you have CTT in your screenshot of mods.
  6. If you are using CTT are you using the default CTT config? I recall having an issue a long time ago where I had CTT installed but was not using the standard CTT config so stuff did not show up. Also did you verify even if you have the nods unlocked that the parts are as well. I don't know if it still happens but in the past if I added parts mid stream I would have to go into the nodes and unlock the individual parts even though i had previous unlocked the nodes.
  7. Who is flying the mission? From the ever so useful OP (always good to read the manual so to speak)
  8. with USI-LS by default the orange suits are not affected by hunger. Which FYI is clearly spelled out in the description for USI-LS in it's threads OP.
  9. As noted throughout this thread (it is only 26 pages and probably worth skimming through in general) lack of surface mount is by design.
  10. I don't think it is the way you are thinking. IIRC Obi was working towards recipes that would be in line with EPL's recipes. Given that Taniwha hasn't even released any recipe stuff I don't think it would "break" anything. The two mods dont really work together now yet coexist fine in the same game.
  11. You could peruse the thread for your answers. It's only 24 pages long and probably has answers to your questions already written.
  12. Silly question but did you scan for dirt to ensure that you have it at your location?
  13. The containers from this mod have been depricated. I would not use them as they will be going bye bye whenever this mod gets updated (at least according to Roverdude when he made the new kontainers included in MKS and now USI Core).
  14. Sold. I have been eyeing one for awhile but was unsure how it would actually work in game. Buying one now
  15. smjjames. karibou has a proper github repo now. Just FYI for issues.
  16. Picture of your gamedata folder please. This sort of thing is 99% of the time install related.
  17. There are 2 repos for reactors? I guess I was being too literal in that I did not see a repo called USI Core that corresponded to this thread.
  18. Probably on the only repo that actually exists.
  19. Roverdude had made a mini bake oven mod at one point for snacks to go with MKS. That's the only one I remember
  20. There are some really interesting features coming to USI-LS which actually seem would fit nicely with your mod
