  1. OK so in 1.1 you have to be using Windows to start with, It does not work with OpenGL so Linux and Macs are out. Download one of the packs referenced on the front page and install it as per usual Then get the recompiled dll from this post mentioned above https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/kerbpaint/releases and replace the one in your KerbPaint directory you need to make sure you have ModuleManager and it should now work.
  2. Also the torso is shorter, legs longer and feet bigger
  3. That's getting really Kerbal Like! Good Job, it would be great to pose some Kerbals in renders or to use in animations.
  4. Having done a few I immediately thought he fired up the engines too early, but this explains it.
  5. It made my front It made my front page on Reddit, and I think may have crept into r/all for a bit at it's height around 900 up votes.
  6. I just saw some strange behaviour when putting craft in orbit of Kerbin, when I went up the normal way it did not happen. So I hyperedited a capsule into 100km orbit and the bottom half of my screen got water rendered over it, I could see through it, like if you go underground at the KSC. Sorry I didn't take a screenshot, I thought it was my ISS replica that was playing up, that went very far from the camera view, still had portrait and stuff like everything was normal but water and ISS off in the distance. Anyway I thought I might mention it, I am on OpenGl, which I know you can't test so it might just be me, but strange it didn't affect a craft that launched to the same height.
  7. achive = achieve sorry but it's on your video title as well. I like the effect but it needs speeding up
  8. You know I was just ditching in the ocean...as you do...and I was thinking, there is no visual cue pertaining to your distance from the water, no shadow or reflection. I guessing using raycasting would be quite expensive on the rendered water?
  9. Build 1230, EEX 3.2.1.9 still no NoOffsetLimits for Linux, just letting you know, only mod installed.
  10. Something I was working on in 1.05, soon to be translated to 1.1 Something I finished working on in 1.05 and just released in the exchange, and a short film here in fan works
  11. I actually had the idea for the SR-71 when the new mk1 cockpit came out. It just took a while to actually getting around to building it.
  12. Nope, I am finished with it now, time to move on.
  13. I look at it and see all the rough edges, but it stretched my skills a long way to attempt it. I know the next film will be even better because of this one. Yeah a couple of my favourite songs in there too.
  14. It was extremely hard and I got really close several times, but I was using the keyboard, I imagine a good pilot with a joystick could manage it, I even improved the boom mechanism (with right port) for the film, but it came to late. It took less time to fake it.
  15. Yeah @BahamutoD released his dogfight camera mode after I had already filmed and mostly edited the dogfight, I can't wait to try it out next time. Most of the boo boos were silly, it was a simulated docking, the Tanker had a docking port Jr and the SR-71 a MK2 Docking port. The F4's did not drop their drop tanks before the fight, the MiG25's had obvious long range missiles on them, stuff like that.
  16. Thanks Majorjim, I still think your Duna video remake is one of the best I have ever seen. Did you spot the boos, boos?
  17. I have dedicated this film to @HarvesteR and the devs at Squad who have made my childhood dreams of being an Aerospace Engineer come true in game form. I have been playing this game for several years now and no other game has brought me as much enjoyment and taught me so much. You guys deserve medals for what you have accomplished, the game is now influencing real life as real life influenced the game. I don't know if anyone appreciates the enormity of what you have done. Here's to sitting on a beach of Laythe and enjoying another Joolrise. This is also my good bye to 1.05 and I hope 1.1 is just as successful for you. Craft page where you can download all the stock versions of the craft and see screenshots etc.
  18. These are the stock versions of the craft used in my short film Cold War Blackbird, during the film they were painted, had decals applied and some had BD Armory systems. Otherwise the craft were stock. Cold War Blackbird is a short film set in 1972 in an alternate Kerbal universe over the country of Kerbitnam. All the craft were from that time period in our universe but as far as I know no MiG 25's ever flew in Vietnam. However all the other craft were in Vietnam during that period. Where possible the planes have performance similar to their real counterparts. There are also ground vehicles and other accessories all stock. It was filmed in 1.05 and no effort has been made to update these craft to 1.1 yet. I would share the film versions but the changes would be difficult to replicate. You can see the film here -> Download Renders: @Starwhip did a nice render for me, thank you. 19. 1.1 is out, I would really like to trythis, good luck with the transition!
