  1. If you see my youtube videos I used FairingTextureSwitcher to change the fairing textures, I have not tried it yet in 1.1.2 but I just got the decals working so it might be resurrected again. hmm this mod will go well with this

  3. We still might Roverdude is updating Firespitter which has a texture switch function, that's what I am using for the decals.

  5. Also from my testing it is best not to use any Reaction Wheels, disable them all for flight, turn early and gently, the staging is unique, it was designed to be the way it is. So stage twice at first stage separation, once to seperate and create distance, second to fully engage second stage. Don't use Prograde SAS, it induces wobbling, and remember to activate RCS on fairing seperation (when you have Zarya or Zvezda as payload).

  7. This shot of Zarya ascending to orbit was so epic I had to share, the ship flies so well in 1.1.2 you would not believe it was a wet noodle that self destructed in 1.1.1.

  9. Yes I think they used the Soyuz TM series without the truss, this is one of @sgt_flyer dev shot's, so not the final version. Edit: I think the structure is the same, they just added a covering to the truss. Album from sgt_flyers post below about progress on the Soyuz

  12. Linux crashes too now, and it's a Unity issue not an issue Squad need to take seriously, they do take it seriously, but it needs to go upstream to Unity to be fixed.
  13. Mine was very simple and only intended as a movie prop, I did get the torpedo into the water with separatons and drogue chutes. I never tested after buoyancy came in so the torpedo never moved very fast, but some clipped Juno's should get one going at a good rate now.

  17. @sgt_flyer and myself have been busy beavering away on this, it's not fully complete but we have most major components finished. If you would like to help us test released components, please provide your feedback in this thread. Our version of the ISS has been Kerbalised to 64% scale. All the components and craft are made from stock parts and tested to work together. It is built to be not only an exacting replica but user friendly and performant as well. We will update this thread as components and systems become available. Just a note for those who wish to use MechJeb, we don't recommend it, everything works better manually with just SAS engaged except where it is explicitly stated to use Prograde Hold or some other mode Current dev ISS at 1032 parts (this was hyperedited into orbit briefly for promotional use, we have not progressed this far with launching yet) Introduction Video
  18. You obviously have some superior video skills, and software, I'm guessing there is quite a bit of post processing. Many of the scenes you just cannot get in the stock game.
