  1. @Tonka Crash You are doing great research. This is important and useful enough to deserve it's own thread. I'm not sure a mod could do anything, but if it can, then it should be a stand-alone mod and not part of anything else
  2. It broke a few others as well. But, if a dll fails to load, is it even shown in the log at all?
  3. Please provide a link to the complete log file. Snippits aren't useful in cases like this The same, please provide a link to the complete log file
  4. Not sure what's going on, but KerbalEngineer is spamming the log file while in the editor with the following: KerbalEngineer -> at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.PartSim.New (.Part p, Int32 id, Double atmosphere, KerbalEngineer.LogMsg log) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.Simulation.PrepareSimulation (KerbalEngineer.LogMsg _log, System.Collections.Generic.List`1 parts, Double theGravity, Double theAtmosphere, Double theMach, Boolean dumpTree, Boolean vectoredThrust, Boolean fullThrust) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.SimManager.StartSimulation () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/DebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 51) KerbalEngineer -> Exception SimManager.StartSimulation() // System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'ModuleDecouplerBase' from assembly 'KerbalEngineer'. at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.PartSim.New (.Part p, Int32 id, Double atmosphere, KerbalEngineer.LogMsg log) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.Simulation.PrepareSimulation (KerbalEngineer.LogMsg _log, System.Collections.Generic.List`1 parts, Double theGravity, Double theAtmosphere, Double theMach, Boolean dumpTree, Boolean vectoredThrust, Boolean fullThrust) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.SimManager.StartSimulation () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/DebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 51) KerbalEngineer -> at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.PartSim.New (.Part p, Int32 id, Double atmosphere, KerbalEngineer.LogMsg log) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.Simulation.PrepareSimulation (KerbalEngineer.LogMsg _log, System.Collections.Generic.List`1 parts, Double theGravity, Double theAtmosphere, Double theMach, Boolean dumpTree, Boolean vectoredThrust, Boolean fullThrust) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.SimManager.StartSimulation () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 and the following when on the launch pad: KerbalEngineer -> Exception SimManager.StartSimulation() // System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'ModuleDecouplerBase' from assembly 'KerbalEngineer'. at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.PartSim.New (.Part p, Int32 id, Double atmosphere, KerbalEngineer.LogMsg log) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.Simulation.PrepareSimulation (KerbalEngineer.LogMsg _log, System.Collections.Generic.List`1 parts, Double theGravity, Double theAtmosphere, Double theMach, Boolean dumpTree, Boolean vectoredThrust, Boolean fullThrust) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.SimManager.StartSimulation () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/DebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 51) KerbalEngineer -> at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.PartSim.New (.Part p, Int32 id, Double atmosphere, KerbalEngineer.LogMsg log) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.Simulation.PrepareSimulation (KerbalEngineer.LogMsg _log, System.Collections.Generic.List`1 parts, Double theGravity, Double theAtmosphere, Double theMach, Boolean dumpTree, Boolean vectoredThrust, Boolean fullThrust) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.SimManager.StartSimulation () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/DebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 51) KerbalEngineer -> Exception SimManager.StartSimulation() // System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'ModuleDecouplerBase' from assembly 'KerbalEngineer'. at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.PartSim.New (.Part p, Int32 id, Double atmosphere, KerbalEngineer.LogMsg log) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.Simulation.PrepareSimulation (KerbalEngineer.LogMsg _log, System.Collections.Generic.List`1 parts, Double theGravity, Double theAtmosphere, Double theMach, Boolean dumpTree, Boolean vectoredThrust, Boolean fullThrust) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalEngineer.VesselSimulator.SimManager.StartSimulation () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
  5. Welcome @St4rdust To the nicest community that I've ever come across on the Internet I II look forward to new beginnings
  6. Like most others, I use OBS on windows. However, I do streaming, and OBS is running on a secondary computer and doing a screen capture. Sometimes when trying to make a very short video to so a problem, I will run OBS on my gaming computer.
  7. New release, 0.3.27 Fixed the models for following engines: J2Engine K170 KickMotor
  8. Why? Its still referring to programming, where nothing can reasonably be assumed
  9. Trust me, it's not that simple. It all depends on the implementation and underlying structure. It seems simple, but without knowing how it works underneath, it's impossible to say whether it is simple or not. The words "unreasonable assumption" don't belong in programming. [snip]
  10. @EnzoMeertens I've found the nullref and fixed it, submitted a PR to you. I also removed unnecessary FORs in the config files and included that in the PR as well. The FOR clauses were being ignored and just making noise in the log file
  11. Are you sure? Think about how difficult it was to get the current runway working as well as it does (no terrain seams, no hidden bumps, etc). If I had a nickel for every time someone said "It wouldn't be difficult to program", I'd be able to retire now
  12. Ok. Let's start with a log file, as well as some details: KSP version OS version Computer specs (not as important for this) List of all mods installed See my sig for a link to a post on how to find the log files
  13. Ignoring length, the only reason to have runways at different angles is do planes won't have to land in a crosswind. Lacking weather and wind. There is no need for angled runways
  14. Do you have the dependencies installed? Do you see the button in the toolbar? If the dependencies aren't installed, it won't work: New Dependencies Click Through Blocker ToolbarController The button looks like a circle with an arrow going through the middle, is white when off and light green when on
  15. Yes I am aware. But you didn't say was what version of KSP you are playing. Install the mod World Stabilizer and that should fix it
  16. So far, in the limited testing I've done, it's been behaving itself. I'll get a longer term test on Sunday and Monday evenings when I do my streams
  17. Sorry, no. If someone were to submit a PR with the change, I'd gladly accept it, but I'm just keeping this mod running, not really adding anything to it on my own.
  18. I know, I was just letting him know in general for the future. "internal" is fine. I have the following local patch to cover all mods with issues like this: // This is to work around unpatched mods. It's not as good as having the //correct profiles defined, but it avoids locking up the VAB. @PART[*]:HAS[~bulkheadProfiles[]] { bulkheadProfiles = srf, missingBulkheadProfile } This serves two purposes. First, it solves the issues with parts and no bulkheadProfiles statement. Second, I can search in the ModuleManager.ConfigCache file for all lines with "missingBulkheadProfile" and then know what needs fixing.
  19. Nice mod, have you tested it with Filter Extensions? Also, give me a holler if you ever need/want CKAN help @micha That might be a problem for FilterExtensions. I would suggest that rather than make it a dependency, you make it "recommends". Also, let me know what the bulkheadProfile is in NEOS and an icon if possible, I'll see if I can get it added to FilterExtensions
