Ok, so I have it working, both for node attach and surface attach, but it's kind of weird. The following instructions apply to the files in the linked zip: For this to work, the B9 Part Switcher is required. To do surface attach, you need to be in Mirror Symmetry mode, and the wing needs to be set to Surface Attach To do node attach, you need to be in Radial Symmetry mode, and the wing needs to be set to Node Attach. Surface attach will still work with this, but the two wings will be directly opposite each other. point them at a part you want to strut and it'll be held rigid. You can turn them on or off either by right clicking or with action groups. They only strut across one vessel so if you have some reinforcing a decoupler or docking port, once you detach, they will be put in 'standby' until you reattach something that hits their line of sight. Don't point them at each other or massless parts because Bad Things happen. If you use them reinforce an Infernal Robotics joint, be sure to deactivate them before moving the joint or Bad Things will happen. The strut gun and quantum strut are functionally the same thing, they just look different. You also don't need the core at all.

Hmmm. Probable, which means I should remove it. I updated 20 mods using a script, its possilbe the script created a file when Mod has spaces in filename, which caused the file to be blank New release, 0.1.2.8 Fixed whitelist file -
Thank you. The name as shown ingame would have been fine, this is better. I’ll take a look at it. But I was trying to make a point here: a bug report needs to be as specific as possible, with as much information as possible. Just saying that a thingy isn’t working in not enough, ans I am not going to spend any time looking for a “thingy”. Having the displayed name would have been enough since I could have done a simple search for that text. Now, the report inquestion says it doesn’t work. But that can mean different things. For example, it appears to have an effect, but no visual is shown, is a better description. Another example, “I tried all axises, there were no visuals and no effect on the vessel” is a more complete description of the problem.

It’s always entertaining when soneone who doesn’t have a clue thinks that changing the game in any way is “easy”. Do you know how many hours/days/weeks of work went into that mod? And keep in mind that it still has significant bugs which affect some people. As said elsewhere, Squad needs to prioritize the work that needs to be done, and to continue the revenue stream (ie:income), otherwise all development/support will stop. While clouds are nice, they don’t contribute to the gameplay that much, if at all.

I was doing some testing, and commented out the node_attach in the SweptWing, and then it started to mirror on node attachment It looks like if there is a node_attach, then mirroring is disabled- 27 replies

Well, mirroring in surface attach mode does align them, so I assume you are trying to make it easy to add the wings to the Tri shuttle body I'm not sure you can mirror with node attachment. I looked at all the other wings from Squad and Airplane Plus, none of them have node attachment. One thing I saw is that the orientation on the nodes on both the wing attachment part and the nodes on the wings/control surfaces are wrong. Keep in mind that while the wing attachment part is designed for your wings, people are inventive and will want to use it for other stuff. I'm puzzled. I've downloaded it, and installed it without B9 (bear with me). I went into the SPH, created a fuselage , then took the wing and tried to apply it in surface attach, mirror mode. And it works. Perfectly.I didn't need to use the wing attachment system. I'll do some more testing later with B9

That actually leaves too much, this will whitelist the entire directory. Since the KSP.log so kindly lists the exact file, this would be better: <KSP.log grep "to replace with" | cut -d"'" -f4 | sort | uniq And, since of course every programmer has their own way of doing things, I'd do it slightly differently: grep "to replace with" KSP.log | cut -d"'" -f4 | sort | uniq just a personal preference, there is NOTHING wrong with the first one above -
Replicated, found and fixed!!!! This is a pre-release, i am aware of a small issue related to localization, but functionally this is working for me: PreRelease 1.4.5.5 Restored missing presets: 7 Days - A strict 7 Kerbin day limit between launches.
