  1. By "stock editor" I assume you mean the Mission Builder editor? The short answer is no, missions need the Mission Builder DLC
  2. For those who think I insulted someone, this was not an insult, or at least, not intended as one. I don't understand how it can be seen as an insult. I have over 130 mods to update, and am getting lots of these types of messages. Read what I said. It is short and to the point. The mod will get updated, but it's going to take a couple of weeks Please be patient Your welcome
  3. Not yet, please be patient and watch both the OP title and CKAN for updates. Going to be a couple of weeks, I have a lot to do
  4. Really? Where? I am not aware of any ads in KSP. Please show a screenshot of adware in KSP, I am very interested in seeing this [snip]
  5. So a DB app for 3D animators is a little different than a consumer game release. Which would require a more complicated EULA because of all the things that people tend to do. And no, I don't even have a gardener
  6. And you conveniently ignored the second part of my post, the one which actually asked you a question
  7. Maybe by you, but not by me. I understand that it's a standard EULA, used by the company for most if not all of their games. As such, it needs to cover all cases, WHETHER OR NOT THE SOFTWARE ACTUALLY DOES IT OR IS INTENDED TO DO SO. So, let me present a case: Microsoft releases an update for Windows which breaks about 5% of all KSP installs Squad is unable to easily replicate or debug this, so they release an update with a partial fix and some data gathering to return debugging data to Squad to help in the final resolution of the problem Squad finally fixes the problem and releases yet another update. This EULA covers these cases, so that when people install the updates, they don't get more EULAs to respond to, don't get confused, etc. If they were to totally remove the sentences in question, then every time they release an update, people would have to respond to the new EULA for every update. Since most people use Steam, their games can get updated automatically, making a smoother user experience. Otherwise, it can be a real pain Oh, and thank you for posting your EULA, I'll be reading it later. I assume it was for a game?
  8. I've been looking at your posts, and am rather puzzled about some things. You say that this thread is about the EULA. Fair enough. But then you've made statements and accusations such as the following: How is not responding to this thread an admission that it is spyware? This: Is a threat from you. It has nothing to do with the contents of the EULA, other than stating that you will be doing certain acts on Friday. Sure sounds like a threat to me. This: Not yet, but your previous comment implied that you would be doing something, which in many people's opinion would be slander and defamatory Again, this: is merely you saying something, it is no admission on their part to anything. Just your wishful thinking This: Really? What evidence do you have for that, or is it just your feeling? its in the *&%^# EULA: Was my response to @Cheif Operations Director about his claim which I was replying to. Did you not read the entire post which I was replying to?
  9. I'm in, the evidence is overwhelming that everyone many people want one. (sarcasm alert, or maybe not)
  10. and again, you are ignoring what it actually says. The most important word you are ignoring is: may It does not say "will". Therefore, there is NO PROOF that it is collecting data and storing it offline. I'm not saying that they can't, just saying that there is NO PROOF. If you have any real proof that it is actually doing that, please inform us. Otherwise, you are just spouting hot air and rumormongering again. Edit: Ninja'd by @Rocket In My Pocket
  11. Really? What evidence do you have for that, or is it just your feeling? First, KSP doesn't install any other executables which run after the game is shut down. Second, assuming that the game itself is checking (it isn't), then it would have to store this information somewhere. It doesn't
  12. I am not supporting this in 1.4 until I have rebuilt it against 1.4.1 Proceed at your own risk
  13. You still haven't posted any of your so-called self-written EULAs. So far, all I see is someone who is blowing smoke, without anything to back up anything he says. You say you've won in court. Ok, then prove it. Court cases are public records, tell us the details so that we can see if you can prove anything you've been saying about yourself. For example, city, state (I assume that you are in the US, if not then the equivalent would do), court case #, date, etc. Paraphrasing your own words: I will assume that if you do not provide the requested information, then you are simply blowing hot air (I'd prefer to say something else, you can guess what).
  14. If I remember correctly, RealChutes modifies stock parachutes and adds new parachute parts. It doesn't have any button to press. Try right-clicking on a placed parachute and see what pops up in the menu
  15. You keep ignoring his point, which is: YOU ARE NOT A LAWYER! I don't care how many so-called EULAs you have written. Did a lawyer review any of them? Why don't you post a link to one of these "EULA"s that you have written so we can see how brilliant you are. Who knows, maybe you are the most brilliant non-lawyer I've ever met. But, until YOU have a lawyer read it, and explain it to you, then you have no real understanding of what it is saying, and how it is, and can be, interpreted.
  16. [snip] Or maybe an opinion, or a statement of fact. Again, you are putting words in everyone else's mouth just to fit your theories.
