  1. As of the last update for Pparts all the former glitches have been resolved. So no more resizing parts or shifting upon craft reload. Maybe this will lead to more seti 0.90 feel. I know I can not play without Pparts, too much ram wasted on tanks and the rest. Not to mention FAR fanno needs them for area rule. Deadly re entry is also updated.
  2. And my reply was that it has nothing to do with this plugin. This plugin merely effect career limits. It isnt adding meshes, models or anythign else. What you want has nothing to do with the plugin.
  3. IMO that seems out of scope for this. Something like that may use this plugin someday, but I don't see how that relates at all to a plugin to allow career mode limit control.

  6. I wanted to report I get the same issue I had earlier with the NREs with Pfairings fairing rings. They are 0 mass in the cfg, but gan mass upon creation procedurally, so I don't ge why they have an issue, but the fairing sides themselves don't. I checked with just a fairing side with no ring and had no issues, nor any issues with Pparts srbs or tanks. So it maybe bets to implement that lower limit to avoid any future issues.
  7. I think that is expected. You probably would have killed the crew from g force not heat as you Passed through the atmosphere so fast.

  9. FYI. The current DL distributes a cfg for DR compatiblity. it is not needed ATM so it is best to remove the file. It actual caused a minor conflict as the new DR edits the heat shields modules itself for compatibility and your file adds the old method on top. Starwaster may in the future leave the changes to you as he has in the past, may want to PM him.

I was wondreing what I should do to calculate skinHeatConductivity for a heatshield and what consideration I should make. Thank you again for the update, for the advice and help figuring out my own issue! Nevermind I see you fix the issue yourself I just need to remove their compatibility file as yours handles it. Thanks!
  11. It's magic like the perfect match. Can't wait for that mod to solve the issues with jets and multi mode engines. Then oh god IVA will just be too good
  12. @All What setting is everyone using for drag and area rule in the FAR main GUI in the spacecenter scene. I have switched to custom settings of 1 for drag and the default for smoothing passes on AR. I found default drag to low for me realism aside unless that is more realistic area ruling smoothing aside. Felt more like 0.90 FAR. Just curious if anyone else played with the settings there and if all this testing was done on default or max. Thanks!
  13. FYI the new deadly reentry hates parts with mass = 0. Currently that was the changes to the thermo and barometers. Causes tons of NREs. If those changes arent in any current configs then just disregard this. I pulled apart the old seti and brought a lot of cfg files over for personal preference so I accept I probably will have some strangeness, but overall I feel better in 1.0 now. Still not perfect or even as good progression wise, but that is just me. I have switched over to science mode and am enjoying it much more. Then again I am playing with a large system resize so my mileage does vary. I am looking forward to the release of a mod to allow career limit modding easily. That will open up career to so much more mod compatibility. Squad may have broke the game to pieces, but modders have more freedom now to build a better one since they gave us more raw material to work with. Just takes more time since we are building from scratch as opposed to expanding on another person's vision. I think it may eventually lead to a better mod experience even if it is a harder start!
  14. Alright testing not at 4am much more productive. I Think I have the issue locked down. It seems I had the baro and thermometer with 0 mass. I think this was causing some issue in a calculation run by DR. I could get the issue consistently with ships containing either part. Any merit to this theory Starwaster? Does that seem possible?I am about to reload the game with corrected masses. Ill post results. - - - Updated - - - Thought those would merge like this hmmmm - - - Updated - - - ding ding ding we have a winner. DR hates when you mock physics with massless parts. Edit. I should make it clear this was from a MM patch I had from another mod. NOT a stock issue.

  17. Getting a ton of NREs upon luanhcing a sounding rocket. Here are logs let me know what else you need. Didn't see any other NRE from any other mod, but let me know if you want me to try and remove any mods. I know I have a lot.

  19. CoL in the nuFAr seems to not be equivalent to what it twas before. I am able at time to fly a rocket with CoL above CoM, not always though. The really issue maybe fairing larger than 150% the diameter of the rocket are unstable so require more effort to keep control. I would recommend either increase your rocket diameter or decreasing your payload diameter. Other than that show us some pics so we can see what your doing.

Hello, I want to request someone smarter than me that has already learned to code make an awesome plugin to allow access of the gamevaribles for career building limits such as part count, height, weight, etc. If this could be configured via a simple text file then career mode would vastly improve mod compatibility. I am sure you would be a hero to many as this is one of the huge improvements in 1.0 that has yet to be tapped. Thanks!
