  1. I send an airstrike to your tanks....
  2. After lots and lots of suborbital, then orbital, then actual flights (they never had enough fuel to go home), I began a mun program. I did not know you could zoom in map (I was on a laptop) so it... didn't work... I also didn't quite know when to burn, until a video (I forget) showed me two things: the phase angle, and how to return. In retrospect it was obvious, but until then it was "oops, missed, maybe time warp will let me just wait...... no.... ok, now I'm orbiting the sun..." repeatedly. I had a great design but not enough know-how to get me there. It wasn't until I made an awry ship and took it all the way there did anything come of it, and I ran out of fuel. Lost in space. Then along came the crashing. It was horrible the masses that died on the Mun back then. Too many. Eventually I sent a top-heavy rocket up... and it fell over. Trying to wiggle it back up killed the joints. Over time (and non-backed up installs) a shorter version was made, and it worked... until it fell over. I was inept at landing site picking. I eventually found a nice place, and it worked! The whole thing! I had beaten the game. And then someone got new planets installed.
  3. It's rarely anything besides a straight forward approach, excluding the Titan Launcher. And planes. For the most part it's Mun Lander or Duna Rover. Nothing difficult to imagine. The modules themselves are always "Mun Base 1A, 1B, etc."
  4. Knight to C4. Knight to detonator control. Knight with C4 and detonator to opponent's side. Knight detonates C4. Now use a fortune teller thing to tell how big the blast was.
  5. All I had seen in the linked second half was failure to render the mission rocket... this one, right? http://www.twitch.tv/cliftonm/v/48247295
  6. I did say it was a long time ago... I've since then deleted my mods and WHEW is load time quick! Also, lag almost disappears! I don't have mods I don't need, and fairings kept just slamming into the bottom stages of my rocket.
  7. They don't use a skybox. It's something else, but not a skybox. It's in the readme somewhere.
  8. No offense but that has the same framerate as your twitch streams, Cliffton M.
  9. If I were to submit a craft that has a mission plan that requires docking in lunar orbit, could this excellent team pull it off eventually?
  10. Is this the longest KSP not-exactly-necro-post ever on the forums? Maybe. Is it pointless because Squad said they will, in the end, after all is said and done? Probably. If KSP multiplayer is anything like DMP, everything will be fine. Content dev? You'd think that'd be integrated... like how WoWS gets new ships...
  11. My laser-guided Boeing B-52 Stratobishop swoops in and annihilates said snake, to go on and land right behind the opponent's king.
  12. It was just me and debug menu, Kerbal X and the solar system... where didn't I go? Also, that one time with the Orion mod. I got 2120Gm out. And that time on a Mac Pro. It was so unbelievably fast. Mun and back? 3. Minutes. Come to think of it, I actually am a very successful rocket builder. I usually make lots of failed savegames and a couple good ones. I had an excellent one, but didn't know about platform differentials. It was horribly corrupted.
  13. Try keeping everything contained to a single area. Science is on the science module and nothing else. Ask yourself if you want a solar module or small panels on each individual one.
  14. I specifically remember someone doing this a while back, with a max 2500ish. Mine personally (several installs ago) was 4900, but since then it's dropped to 0... and I've uninstalled it. For those curious, these are my mods:
  15. A time warp in reverse, so say you quicksave en route to some station at 500Km, and you save 6 orbits before. Cut to docking scene, and you end up coming in too close--WHAM! But you've gotta wait another 5 orbits to do it again, plus docking, maneuvers, etc? With the ability to time warp in reverse, that horrible thing 7 seconds ago can be done over, and right, as opposed to entirely retrying the mission.
  16. The sad thing is it's either going to be locked or moved to somewhere else--or both.
  17. Nukes. I don't need them and feel they irradiate my kerbals. Do you want to give Jeb cancer? DO YOU?
  18. It's not difficult to edit the potatoroid CFG under gamedata>squad>parts>misc>potatoroid and change Unresearchable to some category like Utility. I'm not good with nodes, so it's kinda tricky to make it anything than surface attach.
