ah ok interesting. yes i downloaded the bluedog set as well and was trying to compare to see if one was better than the other since they both seem to cross similar territory

this mod, or a combination of it and another, led to some weird effects. mainly the add shroud button was reversed. so if you wanted it off, it was on, and if you wanted it on, it was off. which made adding a shroud impossible. when i removed the mod, everything was back to normal. *shrug*

only a guess. not currently near my gaming machine now so can't test, which is why i was reaching out to this wonderful community to check.

ah ok i grabbed some craft files that were too new...interesting. are there more craft files somewhere, or just the 6? there seems to be many parts that go together to make a complete ship (like soyez?) (i'm not lazy, i just dont have a lot of free time these days to figure out how to build these historical rockets from scratch like i used, so now i get my main enjoyment from simply flying them around space ) thanks for any help!

i see those craft files from page 207 are all from 2015. that is a long time and several versions ago, so i assume they either don't work or are buggy af. does anyone have any craft files from a recent built?

hi all! i'm trying to get back into KSP after a long hiatus. i like playing career mode, but hate the tech tree progression. I prefer it to start with smaller rockets/probes before building big manned rockets. i used to use the seti "unmanned before manned" mod, but that one seems like it hasn't been kept up and doesn't work anymore. so wanted to reach out to the community and see if there is anything similar, that made a more natural tech progression for fun career play through? thanks!

cool ship! i agree, i think folks should share more of their designs. helps us to crowd source ideas and best practices. it's all good to reinvent the wheel each time but to each their own! XD -
thanks for the screenshots! is that the way its "supposed" to be (aka the way the devs imagined it, as they do with some part sequences). just doesn't feel quite right. will it still launch off that way and not rip your ship apart?

I'm trying to build up the saturn v with the new parts pack, but having trouble with the nose and launch escape tower. currently i've built: Mk1-3 -> SM-6A -> Mini docking node -> Launch Escape Tower However sticking the launch escape tower over the mini docking node looks ridiculous. and you can't even cheat by sliding the tower down, because the SM-6A is wider than it so it all clips through like a hot mess. I feel like i'm missing something important and probably obvious here. can someone help a guy out?

^ brianpop, where did you get that sweet thang? this mod pack is simply...amazing. i've spent the better part of an hour just in the tracking station going to each new body and reading about it and inspecting it. can't wait to explore them all. and then i got to Olu'um and was blown away again, that there was an entire other mini-solar system hidden there! ugh it's almost too much awesome...- 2,454 replies

Hello! I'm in mid-game KSP and currently trying to scan Eve and its lil moon. I've successfully set up network relays around Kerbin and Duna. I just set up a new relay around Eve and got my scanner there. However now suddenly I have no connection. My relays are connected fine, and it looks like my scanner is connected to the relays, but I have no control over them. I'm pretty confused. How can I find out what the issue is. I've taken screenshots to show what I'm talking about but can't figure out how to insert them

hey there. i'm playing in career mode and have unlocked most of the lower-tech parts. however in the decouplers tab I don't see a procedural fairings part...is it hidden somewhere, or do I need to unlock it somewhere? i'm playing 1.3.1 Thanks! -
anyone else having the station solar panels unfolding before launch? even in the VAB the massive solar arrays unfold and I can't get them back in pretty funky issue.

sorry if this was posted somewhere else. I just downloaded SVT and Kopernicus, but when i loaded up KSP, i got a message saying "Kopernicus was not able to load the custom planetary system due to..." however I do no have any custom planetary systems. Has anyone else fixed this issue before? Am i OK to just ignore the message? Thanks!- 1,019 replies

hey monkey people! i just downloaded this and am trying to figure it all out. it's very overwhelming! i'm looking at the Product Information Cards to figure out what I need to do. for starters I want to put some stuff on Duna, so want to ask some questions, please bear with me! 1) are all of the Duna vehicles in the MLS category? (does that mean Mars Launch System? 2) to actually get the pieces there (ie Duna Habitat, Duna Resource) do they need to be attached to an interplanetary engine? if so, what's the one to use I don't see any MLS cards that would seem to work? 3) what's the difference between the MLS Transfer Vehicle, MLS Advanced Transfer Vehicle, MLS Duna Exploration Lander, and MLS Max Transfer vehicle? they all seem similar to me.. 4) i see several MLS vehicle designs in the game that don't have product information cards, like the MLS M-Rover, where can I find more information on these, or how to use them? 5) last question, what is the recommended progression of vehicles to Duna? i'm really just guessing now and feel like i'm shooting into the dark. thanks! if this info is already out there somewhere just point me in the right direction
