I got a bit frustrated with those engines just now and landed a Karibou the Kerbal Way: attach a rocket, land it, flip it over on its wheels. -

Work on the KSS continues. Docking port with inline clamp-o-tron added. Service module and senior docking port added for deep space mission compatibility. Bob Kerman broke the only plasma tv and went crazy, unscheduled crew transfer with Soyuz-TMA.

Nothing special, new career based on many Tantares parts, first station around orbit with a science lab and some data from the Mun and Minmus. Graphics pimped wit KSPRC.

I get around 4400 dv with that craft (beautiful btw!). At first glance I noticed when you start the craft with full throttle, the bottom where the engine is moves a nudge from the center until it stabilizes itself again. This may be a stability issue.

For those that play with USI life support, I took the extra cfg for TAC and edited it to support USI. The values are rough guesses, change to own preferences. Of course it does not make sense for surface samples. But numerical data like temperature, pressure and so on? Its mundane to transfer data in real life from probes back to earth. The point is, I can transfer the data to KSC, but not to other ships which contain a science lab. I could slap the data on a harddisk from the Tarsier mod and send it back to the station of course, but meh. In my opinion, if I go the extra mile to cover the whole Kerbon system with satellites, I want to choose where I send the data, not just to KSC.

So, is there any way to transfer science points between ships using RemoteTech, Ship Manifest or any other mod? It kind of makes no sense that I need to dock two ships to transfer numerical data. I want to set up an orbital science station around Kerbin and have it receive science data from probes etc. Its quite easy to pick up science from Mun and Minmus or say... Ike. Its no problem to create some kind of unmanned probe and have it return to Kerbin, but this lacking feature kinda makes me sad. Another idea I had was cutting all communication from KSC and set up a mobile command with 6 kerbals in orbit. Better ideas? Thanks.

Thank you for your wonderful mods Roverdude. Have there been some balance changes recently? Last save a couple of months ago 100kg of supplies lasted quite for some long time. I started a new career and 100kg gives me 6 days of supplies.

Alright, its hardcore in quotation marks. Compared to CTT Seti-CTT has a rough start though. I play ETT with 50% science and RT, although with Seti-Remotetech config. It's quite silly to have only one ground station. Enough offtopic I guess.- 1,028 replies

Thank you very much for this mod. I was a bit frustrated with career games lately, CTT was too easy and Seti-CTT is too hardcore for my taste. I have not yet looked into Yongedevils tech tree plugin, but will it allow other players to contribute configs for their favorite mods? I am sure many players would like to contribute but don't want to edit .cfgs all day long in notepad.- 1,028 replies
