Crash on opening

Remove all of your mods and run the game again. If it runs, your issue is with a mod. Once you determine that, add your mods back a few at a time so you can easily narrow it down to the culprit. Look at your logs, BDA is causing a lot of errors. You are running 1.3, so make sure all of your mods are compatible with 1.3. Never assume that a mod will work after an update.- 2 replies

No, In Greek mythology, there were nine muses, all inspirational goddesses of literature, science and art. Instead of choosing just one, I named it Muse to represent all of them. Muse, being one of the more interesting bodies in GPP, can certainly inspire literature, science and art But it can be the band if you want it to be the band.- 7,371 replies

TR absolutely needs MM support. I absolutely hate that each time I update TR two things happen: I forget my textures are in TR and I accidentally delete them (have to fish them out and/or replace them) or I remember and and loath having to transfer everything to the correct folders again. Seems insignificant but it wears on my nerves. OR we could just have MM support and never have to worry about it again so long as the syntax of the cfgs don't change.

That's not a sigma issue, it's an SVE issue. I haven't had a chance to fix it this week. -
1.3, Heavy Mods, Crashing on Launch

Yeah, one thing to keep in mind when upgrading to 1.3, or any other version for that matter, just updating "as many mods as you can" doesn't really matter if you still have that one mod that is not updated. A good rule of thumb is to just use the officially updated mods and exclude those that have not been updated. Also, never assume that a mod from a past version will work in a newer one. -

You aren't using Module Manager for 1.3. either that or I can't read anything in that screenshot (I'm on mobile). Looks like you are not using 2.8.0 though -

Well, I made a small mistake and FF seems to be working ok now. Apparently, I was using an old save, and all of the ribbons for "first orbit" around Kerbin, Mun and Minmus had already been awarded to other dead Kerbals. Sorry for the false alarm! Thanks for bringing FF up to speed! -

You need to be running x64 with those mods. It doesn't matter how much memory you have, if you use x32 your game is limited to 4gb Run x64 and your issue will be fine. Your saves will be ok too. Running in x64 just allows your game to use more memory. -

Mod Idea - In-Flight Procedural Parts

This isn't possible with KSP. The reason why is, you can't change values in the cfgs on the fly in KSP, which would be required for parts to "shrink" while in flight. It's just not possible to do real time changes like that. Not with KSP at least. The closest anyone has got to this is turning the flight scene into a VAB of sorts, but it was so buggy it never panned out. Even then, it wasn't on the fly. It would effectively stop the game and all you could do was swap out parts or add parts you forgot. Trying to add support for all of the part mods and mods like tweak scale or procedural part would be tough. Even if it was possible, it would take so much work and time that I doubt any modder(s) would jump on the project. Gotta remember, modders aren't paid and work on their free time. This is a fun idea, but not possible in KSP and needless to say, very ambitious.- 7 replies

@Ger_space isnt there a Unity Asset extractor that will allow you to pull the .mu file and textures for the stock anomalies and such? I think it would be really cool to place the dead kraken or the Vall henge model on a planet. For some reason I thought you had already done that, but realized that you just made it possible to tag things as an anomaly, which is awesome as well. Just food for thought. I will try to extract those models and if I am successful I will give them to you.
