  2. Have you tried running the game without the planet packs? If you try with out the packs, and this issue goes away, add each pack back one by one and test with each new planet pack.
  3. This makes zero sense. They are the exact same except file extension and png textures. My guess is you installed incorrectly the first time. If you are on windows and you are using the Mac and Linux version, you are using more ram then you need to be.
  4. Here is a pack of all major texture packs for procedural parts. It includes the new one you want. I assume you can just delete the ones you don't want
  5. FF is already included in GPP in the optional mods folder, and it's the full version.
  6. Like I said in your other post. Post a screenshot of the planet AND of your gamedata folder. It sounds like you messed up the installation of a planet pack.
  7. Well, a lot of people install mods incorrectly and forget dependencies, so yes, very common. You just have to pay very close attention to install instructions or use CKAN
  8. The black infinite loading screen happens typically when something is installed incorrectly or you are missing dependencies.
  9. I had only had mine for about 3 months. Turned out it wasn't enough power from my GPU. Over powering it can cause the same problem though, but that is really hard to do.
  10. Last time I had a GPU with a whine, it ended up dying on me shortly after the whining began (roughly a month)
  11. Probably not mods conflicting. You probably removed enough mods to allow the game to run on x32. Running x64 lets you run as many mods as you want, granted you have enough ram.
  12. KCT is not updated to 1.2.2. There is only a dev version. Please stop going from thread to thread asking for a download link.

  15. If you had RSSve installed, your sunflare was likely scaled up for an RSS size system....

  17. Looking at your error log, you aren't running x64 bit. Running mods on x32 will easily crash your game.
  18. EVE doesnt touch sun the sun. Have any planet packs or anything. Post your logs and a screenshot of your gamedata folder. Scatterer provides a white sun flare if that is what you are talking about?
  19. Thanks for the update sigma! in the future, how would you feel about making the terrain texture scale a custom thing. I know I was the one that had you implement the current way things are done, and it works great for SSRSS when being shrunken down to stock size, but scaled up causes the textures to seem VERY small and clearly tiled. I think I remember you saying you could make that a custom setting, but I didn't want to burden you with more work.
  20. I use that myself for stock and for planet packs. I like the role play aspect it gives you and lets you ultimately decide what you do, how you do it and when you want to do it, and rewards you for all of it. It's pretty liberating I think. Glad you like the mod
  21. You can with Texure Replacer, so long as you are ok with going back to the KSC scene and switching it before you EVA on another body.
