I've been thinking about this for a while and my question is: What is your opinion on there being a natural base or counting system? Taking a Platonic view of the universe, is there any 'system' to the universe regarding numbers, not just 'there are x apples'? I mean, we might just be measuring the universe wrong. Most people would probably default to either base one or binary (base two), but why? Is there any reason that the numbers one and two are special? This brings us to my second questions: Integers. Why are they considered different and get precedence over other numbers? What is even the definition of an integer, I mean even though the number 5 doesn't have any decimals in base ten, if written in base Pi, it's irrational. It might also be that x whole apples are necessarily an integer number of apples, but the operating word is whole and it might just be us that are centred around whole, full and integer, even though they might not be different or special in any way. -T (P.S. Maths counts as science in this forum right?)

That is a really cool idea!!! Hmmm... Shame So you make a guide as long as you use the word unofficial in the title and don't use screenshots. Did I get that right???

Do you prefer eating cheese on crackers, plain or in salad? I prefer crackers Someone should make a poll. -
I have absolutely no idea what Winebottler is. Is it a browser or an application or plugin or something? (Also bumping the page up again as I don't think it's getting the recognition it deserves) EDIT: I just looked it up and it looks awesome! Will definely use Winebottler in the future! Just out of curiosity, even though I have no knowledge in this type of thing, why does it only work on Windows, as DMP works on Mac as well?
-
Why no comments, this seems awesome! Sadly I'm on Mac, but would love to use it if I could. I really appreciate that somebody has made this type of thing as I've been looking for something like this that isn't DMP. Will it be working on Mac in the foreseeable future? Also, would love some pics of the UI and such.

[1.2] Kerbal Kommander: a new way to play KSP
BT Industries replied to gagarinekerman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Stupidly long and complicated idea I would love to see a reality... (I put it all in a spoiler so it doesn't clutter up the rest of the thread) Here we go... Hopefully you find something helpful or inspiring amongst all my ramblings and brainstorming. I can only imagine how hard some of my ideas would be to code so feel free to stuff them in the bin. Just please tell us why it's not possible so that I can understand and hopefully learn something so my next ideas are more feasible. If you have any questions on some I didn't explain well enough then go ahead. (Sorry if there are any typos a wrote this all on my phone) You have seriously changed KSP, so thank you once again for all the time and effort you have out into this mod. (You should consider a donation link so people can at the very least buy you a drink) -Cheers Ben- 275 replies

KSP on PC is amazing!!! We can pretty much do anything thanks to all the mods and depending on what sort of computer you have it can also be faster. If I were you I wouldn't even think twice, its the best 38 (australian) dollars I have spent.

@abowl had this amazing idea on his thread but due to a lack of explanation discussion on the topic stopped quickly. Its really quite a simple idea in which you get notified if there is any science around if you have a scientist on board. I think this would be really useful and actually give me a good reason to carry Bob around in a craft that is to small for a lab. What do you guys think
