  1. I applaud the progress of your work-in-progress Progress. May I ask if you plan to redo the batteries, or make a smooth (thermal blanket) version? Seems that way, from looking at the picture. Also, I'm experimenting with Hot Staging so I can start using Real Fuels. I think I may have to give some tanks some ablator and strengthen the decouplers. Every time I try to hot stage the decouplers blow up.
  2. I've got some time, as I'm on "Dad Leave" from work, pending the birth of my son. I'm going to take a crack at Kerbalism Configs, but I need to know how much stuff to put in. I'm going to do some digging, but if anyone has info on mission duration times, then I can play with numbers and make proper Kerbalism configs. (Example: 100 days was mentioned for Progress.)
  3. Looking good! From my understanding, the OM is for supplies and cargo, and the Control Block has the fuel (LF/O/MP). So, you'd be looking at Oxygen/Food/Water/Nitrogen as well as Waste/Waste Water (Kerbalism), and similar setups for the other life support modules, as well as KIS space. Just my $0.02.
  4. YES!!! Finally what I need to resupply my stations. I'm going to try to make some Kerbalism configs for the different parts. I just need to figure out how much stuff to put in.
  5. Based on that picture, I would assume he's looking for a semi-realistic recolor for the various parts. For example, the large section in the picture is orange, and the other section would be green, as in Salyut 6. So, the Soyuz parts would need a green and a black or charcoal grey option, and the Salyut/Mir parts would need a green texture, and in the case of the large crewed section, an orange, and a red/white texture as well.
  6. I use it as Rassvet, and the "old" Progress orbital modules as Pirs/Poisk, at least for now.
  7. I use it too. I mentioned to Beale a while back about making one to include with the new Tantares pack.

With that antenna and the rest of the Igla system, as well as the window thingy referenced earlier, we'll be able to make just about every major version of the Soyuz, and then the Progress, once it's released. I like the VA striping, maybe craft-specific textures would be neat as an optional download, or as part of an FSTextureSwitch option. For example, a green TKS, a green, or charcoal grey/black Soyuz, green, green/white, green/white/orange Salyut, etc.) I think those of us who like to make real-world-based crafts would love that. I'd play with the PSDs myself if I had Photoshop, but it's too expensive to justify buying it right now. On the subject of RCS, I've been trying to make as realistic an RCS setup as possible for the Soyuz, and it can be a little difficult sometimes. Maybe some RCS blocks that mimic the real setup of the Soyuz would be cool to see. I know it means more parts, but that allows for people to make accurate spacecraft, and still have the ability to make crafts of our own design.

  11. I discovered the source of the problem. I was using the CA parts, not the renamed and rescaled parts from SPT.
  12. It can't make orbit. The only thing in the cargo bay was the airlock/docking port and your new antenna. I've been able to make orbit easily in the "standard size" Shuttle.
  13. @MrMeeb I tried to make an STS with your Shuttle Parts and @Pak's ET/SRB stack. I used the ET extender, figuring that would help, but the result was that the craft was seriously underpowered. Is there a solution for this? I was considering making an MM config to "uprate" the STME's and SRB's to give approximately the same flight performance as the "standard" Cormorant Aeronology STS stack, but I didn't know if there was already a way to address the issue.
  14. The chute is on auto-deploy. Maybe the chute could be modified to work like the SDHI chute, with a drogue and a main, to ease the G-forces. I also wonder if any more thought has gone into doing the whole landing-rockets thing for Landertron. I know there's been discussion on the matter, but I don't remember what the verdict was.
  15. I have an issue with the parachute. When it deploys, all my kerbals hit their G-Limits and black out.
  16. I like the new colors better than the old. The grey-with-tan-accents theme certainly has more character then the old grey/white theme.

  18. Would this be easy to convert for use with Oxygen as well?
