  1. Depending on your distro there might be newer drivers available, for *buntu it's worth checking the Oibaf or Edgers repositories.
  2. Okay how about changing the prefs file to the res you want then making it read only. @JoelleEmmily I'm not really sure when it comes to bugs with mods, the best place for that would be the scatterer thread but someone here might know.
  3. Please refrain from quoting entire posts in future @Vonnmillard
  4. Not having too many saves may be best, though as your skies fill with craft your saves will get larger.
  5. What I've found is if there's enough user data of any sort it can fail to sync, it doesn't even sync part of your files, it just seems to stop working. Craft files can do it but you need a lot of them, hat really fills it up is your saves, the more craft in those saves the sooner you max out. And when you do, no more syncs are made, so all the updates to the persistent.sfs and quicksave.sfs are not sent to the server, so when you restart you're left with what saves you had when you reached the limit, and any progress after that point simply wasn't saved.
  6. Is the ladder at an angle? That might do it on console as the jetpack may be firing when the Kerbal changes direction.
  7. It's most likely a bug, the console UI seems to suffer a lot from click through, this used to plague the PC versions as well and is a problem exacerbated by the Unity engine not providing decent tools to prevent it. If you rotate your view so there is nothing behind the buttons it should help. Squad and Flying Tiger do plan to fix issues but it would help if you could report this to the issue tracker. From Squad.
  8. Hi @QVirus, have you tried turning off overscan on your TV yet? That should solve this issue, you can also set the aspect ratio on your TV to auto mode, and it will compensate for the signal from the XBox One. If you post your TV make and model I can help you find the instructions to do this. Hope this helps.
  9. This can happen on PC, grabbing a ladder automatically disables the Kerbal jetpack, and if there's anything too close the Kerbal can bounce off and back into space. I've not seen this one yet. This is an older PC bug that has been fixed in the latest PC builds, so will be fixed when the console version is updated, if you add an empty stage below the decoupler it should fire that stage then work as normal, as the lowest stage is being counted as already activated. Yes, Squad will be patching issues in time.
  10. This is the official word on updates from Squad. So yes there will be updates but I don't know when yet.
  11. Your first two wheel issues, damper/spring settings and no 'Wheel blocked' message, are likely due to the console version being a little behind the PC, those features were added very late to 1.1, also an update is planned.
  12. Your TV will also have aspect ratio settings in its on-screen display menu, see your TV's manual for how to access this.
  13. There's no real order, the detection seems to be broken, if you could document this on the Squad issue tracker it'd help.
  14. If you are reporting an issue it is absolutely vital that you provide as much information as possible. Describe the situation in detail and provide steps to reproduce the issue. Reports that say "This happened" do not help and likely cannot be fixed.
  15. The Aeris4A works, though I seem to lose a wheel every time I launch, so I add a few parachutes for the 'landing'. I'm too used to building on the PC to get on with the console VAB/SPH so far, so have not tried a custom spaceplane.
  16. EVA is a little bit different if I remember correctly, as there's no separate rot/lin modes. Kerbals will align to the camera plane the same as they do on the PC version, the left stick, triggers and D-pad left/right should provide all the movement controls, with boarding/climbing on the buttons. You can see the controls in the on-screen help, it's the ? symbol on the right.
  17. As soon as I find out when it'll be patched I'll let you and everyone else know. This is the official line regarding console patches. So a patch is definitely planned, I just don't know when we'll see it.
  18. Okay Also I wonder, if you also have a probe on there is it pointing the right way...
  19. You could copy the persistent.sfs to a new save folder, and terminate all the flights except the rover. I assume the rover is stock?
  20. Can you post logs and your mod list please @gamerscircle ?
